Want to hear incredible stories of ancient tribes living in a cave? This tour is for you then! And it doesn't stop there, you will also learn more about Fijian culture: villages, farming, local stories & traditions etc. This was an incredible tour and I cannot thank our guides and drivers enough: Tia Maria, Sponge Bob, Saddam and Moses! Thanks guys for the stories, the safari, culture and the great lunch with BBQ & tropical fruits.
A real must-do! Just make sure you have appropriate water shoes that can sustain heavy mud and water baths :D

We had an amazing day with Captain Leps, Jack and the whole crew.
Words cannot describe the feeling of welcome you receive from the very start of the tour and in the village. The Jet boat was sensational, the right amount of adrenaline is just what you need!
The Village was a once in a lifetime. The people are warm and hospitable, and the whole day was so special.
Thank you all! We are so glad we put it on our list to do. Until next time.

Rakshay was an amazing tour guide and host. He drove us an hour outside our airbnb to visit the sand dunes and the beach. It was very affordable and a private tour. He recommended which hike we should attend and we loved it. We will never forget this life-changing experience.

We had the best private fishing trip ever with Captain Joji and Deck Hand Dilesh! Forget the group charters, private tours with Sigatoka are the way to go!

I wasn’t sure what fishing charter to book, so I messaged a couple of them in Fishing Booker and Instagram. Sigatoka responded promptly on Fishing Booker and Dan from Sigatoka messaged me on Instagram to provide all the details and answer all my questions. I felt confident booking with them after speaking to Dan.

Mohammed came all the way to Denarau from Cuvu to pick us up from the Hilton. The round trip transportation was included in the price of our tour! Wow! He was a good driver and we enjoyed talking to him. We learned a lot about Fijian culture and various places that we passed. Denerau has various charters at the marina which were closer to our hotel, but we really liked the private experience and local experience with Sigatoka. I will definitely book with them again instead of taking a fishing charter from Denarau just because they are closer. We enjoyed our one hour ride to Cuvu, where we boarded the boat on the beach.

Captain Joji and Deck Hand Dilesh were the best! I want to request them next time. They worked SO hard to find fish for us. They searched for fish for about 2 hours, tracking down every group of seabirds and trying to find schools of yellowfin tuna. They stayed positive and provided us with good company while we waited for fish to bite. Captain Joji offered to take us bottom-fishing since we weren’t having any luck trolling, but said he had “a good feeling.” We decided to gamble and keep trolling instead of bottom-fishing. We are so glad we did! My husband caught a huge Spanish Mackerel that gave him a good fight! Afterward, Captain Joji asked if we wanted to keep gambling on trolling or switch it up. We kept on trolling and they found us a small school of yellowfin tuna! We had a double-strike and Joji and Delish helped get us both on poles. We both caught one yellowfin each! Unfortunately a shark got my my husband’s tuna before we finished reeling it in (Captain Joji called it the Fiji tax haha). Delish cut up the remaining meat on the fish my husband caught and served us fresh sashimi! After, Captain Joji and Delish circled many other groups of birds trying to find us more fish. On our way back we caught a monster barracuda and even saw some dolphins! We were lucky, because catching fish isn’t always guaranteed. I couldn’t have asked for a better crew. Even if we didn’t catch anything, I would have had a great time with Captain Joji and Delish. They were great company, and really went above and beyond to make our charter the best it could be! We will be back!

Upon our return the tide had come in, so we were able to take the channel back to the village. What an amazing experience! This is the REAL Fiji. The village kids were so friendly. We were fortunate enough to catch multiple fish, so we just took the tuna and half of the Spanish mackerel. Captain Joji and Delish shared the rest of our fish with the village. We were happy that it would not go to waste!

We had a nice ride home again with a Mohammed. Upon returning to our hotel (Hilton Fiji on Denarau Island), the concierge (evening of 1/24/23) called the chef at Nuvu who agreed to prepare our fish. Best fish I ever had! The mackerel was so moist and tasty! It’s my new favorite. I am Japanese so I eat a lot of sushi and sashimi, but I really enjoyed the Fijian style of preparing the raw fish. It’s almost like ceviche. So good!

Saw lots of parrtots and reptiles, and it was a nice 2 hours walking up a valley through really nice forest. The park has done it really tough through covid and there were not many people there when we visitited.

The canopy ride is not going and by the looks of it, wont be going again anytime soon as trees are now growing through the rails and would need weeks of maintence to get going again.

Our kids went on the waterslide $90 FJD for 2 kids to ride the slide) and they probablky went down the slide 5 times each before they were tired of walking up the slide stairs in the heat.

Very cool slide through the trees. We happily paid the money though because the park needs more visitors and money to continue to survive and if you think of it that way then it's money well spent.

The park rescues birds off illegal owners and poachers so it's important this place continues. They employ lots of locals. The big bird averies you can walk through and the birds fly around you.

We were staying at the Outrigger Resort and asked to be dropped off at the resort golf driving range and archery area otheriwise it would have been a 10 minute walk in the hot sun.

You can feed the turtle they have in the pool and hold a few snakes and lizards.

Interactions with the animals were great, albeit limited for the cost of admission. However the water slide was awesome especially on a hot day. Although this added extra is in addition to the price of entry, it is very worthwhile, however participants were limited. I offer that if the Eco Park was to offer package deals or discounts based on the number of participants, it would be viewed as much better value for money and likely draw more participants in

We were hoping to get a break from the high temperature in Fiji and our hopes got answered. Such a refreshing trip! The water at the waterfall is a blessing, cold and clear! We were accompanied through the rainforest by a local guide, it took us around 40 minutes each way. It is a hike mostly in the shade and you cross the streams a few times so you get a chance to cool down even in the hot weather. The waterfall is worth the effort!

Our driver, Eishaad, was so friendly and helpful. We were last off the plane and last through customs but he waited patiently and welcomed us when we eventually got through. He helped us with our luggage and made sure we had everything and then took us on the 90 minute ride to our resort. On the way he chatted easily and gave us some valuable insights and information. The return trip was equally enjoyable and Eishaad arrived on time and got us back to the airport in plenty of time for our flight. Highly recommended.

Our guide, Vishkal, was very knowledgeable and an excellent driver. His flexibility was very accommodating to our needs. We went to places seldom seen by most tourists. The pottery handicraft village was off the beaten path and gave a a true taste of the Fiji culture. Having a friendly local driver was very useful in learning about the country.
We loved the villager who took us to the waterfall and we saw many beautiful plants on our walk.
The waterfall pool was well worth a swim.
We highly recommend this tour and Vishkal.

Wow! This tour exceeded all our expectations. We were met by Vashna and Vishal who spent the entire day as our tour guides and ended up becoming great friends. We saw a beautiful Hindu temple, ate fresh fruit from a roadside stand, found the best views on the island, toured a small village, danced with village children, had a kava ceremony, watched pottery being made, took a trek from another village, took a Billibilli ride across a river, ate jungle fruits, learned cannibal history, climbed through a small tunnel into a massive cavern, ate lunch with a village chief and his family, toured a beautiful local farm and were warmly received by a local farming family for tea. We were immersed in real Fijian culture and learned about history, crops, local customs and felt the true spirit of Fiji.

This tour is a MUST DO when you visit Fiji. Great value and wonderful people.

Vinaka vaka levu to Vishal and Vashna for making this trip so special!
