    Great building
    Just off the main square this is a fabulous building both inside and out, all very symmetrical, well worth a visit

    Nicely Appointed Auditorium With Excellent Acoustics
    We went to a concert by the Sodre juvenile symphony orchestra (mostly teenagers) conducted by Giselle Ben-Dor. They performed several works by Dvorak and Aaron Copland and did a pretty good job of it. The auditorium, which has several levels, has good acoustics, and despite being in a side aisle (on level A) I could see everything. A nice venue.

    Incredible energy
    So much fun! I went for the Carnaval Contest, not knowing what to expect. It was a packed, open air theater with amazing energy. Lots of food options and all the seats had a great view of the stage.

    Excellent
    We saw Hamlet Ruso - it was so beautiful! A world class production - impeccable. And the Sodre is a lovely as a venue too.

    Interesting Building
    Interesting theater. I liked the architecture of the structure. Was able to get a few good pictures. Nothing super fascinating here, but still worth the short trip to check it out.

    A Nice Cultural Uruguayan Show
    It was a great show. A combination of Tango, Candombe, Folklore, Dance and Music.

    The dinner wasn't good enough. Very comfortable theater. Centrally located in Montevideo.
