Gonzolo Silvestre was an excellent guide and we had a great time! I didn't feel rushed through anything and we got to see everything we wanted to. There were excellent photos opportunities and great information from our guide. Their English was excellent as well! We would definitely recommend!

Gonzalo was a very good guide and a safe driver. The tour was described as 3.5 hours, but as we approached hour 5, both us and another couple were ready to go back to our hotels. Luckily, we did not have anything scheduled for that afternoon. Not sure about the other couple. But on the plus side, we did get to see much of Montevideo.

The trip to Punta Del Este was amazing! Even though it rained some the views were spectacular. The tour guide spoke very good English. The trip was approximately 10 hours total. We had plenty of time in Punta Del Este. I had time for lunch and then to walk to the famous La Mano.

What a pleasant arrival in Colonia - the ferry terminal is lovely and modern and had the feel of an airport. Signage to the town is a bit confusing- we ended up walking out and turning left, which took us past an ancient railway line and well preserved station. There is an artisan market (indoor) on this route too - nice crafts, accept US dollars and cards, toilets and a simple but nice coffee shop.As the town is so small, you can’t go wrong if you turn left.

Colonia is tiny, and there isn’t a lot to do, but it is very gentle and beautifully kept. As it’s so small, don’t rush to eat at the first place you see (like we did) but look around for something you like the look of. I wish we had stumbled across Que Tupé sooner with its excellent location and super-bright colours (and of course the old car outside with plants growing in it).

Not as many old cars as I had expected, but there were one or two buskers and also a few actors dressed in colonial costumes.

The Origami Museum is very sweet, with a lovely lady on the door.

This day trip was long but enjoyable. Colonia Sacramento is a beautiful and historical place with something of interest for everyone. The guide came through the bus several times to make sure each one of us was doing well. She did, however, speak way too fast.

Where do I even begin? Andres is a treasure of Uruguay. This was actually our second tour with him during the week we spent in the country (1st time visitors), and he took such good care of us.

Andres picked us up from our hotel in Montevideo and took us on the 2 hour ride to Colonia and back. Aside from the general things that you hope for in a day trip (punctuality, careful driving, historical knowledge of the surroundings), Andres was also very warm and friendly, and he was so attentive to all our needs. Plus, we had great conversations. You can tell that he loves his country and loves what he does, and he takes tremendous pride in both.

Additionally, I must mention Karen, who handled the walking tour while we were in Colonia del Sacramento. She was a wonderful guide with a great depth of knowledge and a warm personality. Our time with her was relaxed, enjoyable, and very enlightening!

Lastly, I want to give extra thanks to Andres for snagging us a last-minute reservation at El Tio for the same evening as our tour, which was also the last night of our trip as well as Thanksgiving in the US. He personally called the restaurant owner and was able to arrange for us to get the only remaining spot available that night. And we're so happy that he did! The dining experience at El Tio was magnificent, and it was a great way to wrap up our stay.

Thank you, Andres, for your knowledge, the unexpected lovely gifts, your thoughtfulness, and your kind heart. Thanks to you, we love Uruguay that much more.

We were fortunate to be the only two booked for this tour, so we had our own guide and a driver besides. When it started raining, they adjusted the itinerary so we could go to indoor attractions. We even were able to go to places that larger groups were unable to see. Our guide was very personable and knowledgeable, and we learned a lot from her. We had a little extra time so they asked if we wanted to go for lunch and see a residential neighborhood which we did and enjoyed the experience. In hindsight, we should have clarified the additional cost before going, but we were very happy with the tour overall.

This is the second time we've toured Montevideo with Blanco Tour Uruguay. Belen was out guide the first time and did such a great job we requested her for this visit with friends who had never been to Montevideo. They were all really happy with her and said if they ever get back, they'll use the same company.

She's very knowledgeable and very accommodating to any requests to see a sight or do a little shopping. She allowed enough time at each stop explain the significance and was able to answer all of our questions!

It was so wonderful to spend time at Casillo Viejo, meeting the family behind the vineyard who were so lovely and made us feel so at home! Miguel was a super guide with great English and was also an excellent translator for some parts of the tour. The lunch was also amazing and so well matched with the wines. He also provided some great recommendations for what else to do in Montevideo - highly recommend!

The tour was very good and picked us up at our hotel. We then listened to our guide who explained the itinerary and a bit of history. Our first stop was Piriapolis which was charming. We went to the top of the Cero for a great view and photo opportunity. The tour takes you to the Casapueblo which is an amazing tribute to the famous artist - Carlos Paez Vilaro. It looks like Santorini on steroids.
We then went through the back streets of Punta del Este and our guide explained why it's the home of the "rich and famous."
We stopped near Play Brava and had some free time to photograph and get a snack.
It's a long tour but it's worth it.

Favio was awesome! He helped customize our city tour when our scheduling had to be changed, stayed with us after normal hours, showed us great parts of Montevideo and made excellent recommendations for places to eat. We would highly recommend him to friends who come to Uruguay in the future.
