- Raquel BShrewsbury, MA69 contributionsWe hadn't realised there was a paddington statue in Lema. It was a happy find as we walked back to our hotel. He was having his paint work touched up to looked lovely and fresh. The pic of my husband pretending to touch him up is now my phone screen saverWritten 10 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I stuck around for a good 5-10 minutes listening to the lady in the wheel chair singing and cute old couples dancing away.Written 6 June 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Is located in front of the National Museum of the Archaeology, Anthropology, and History of Peru and you can easily find restaurants, bars and cafes nearby. Definitely recommend this place!Written 15 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Marty BielickiStuart, FL16,118 contributionsWe discovered this unique sculpture as our Uber driver was taking us along a main ocean front avenue. Located in Miraflores, this one-of-a-kind statue. It is something you don’t see every day.
The sculptor, Victor Delfin, depicted kissing his wife, circa 2009. Apparently, the mayor used to hold “the longest kissing contest.” Ironically, the sculpture is placed in “Love Park.”
Superb views can be seen by this park down and up the coast. Not far away is the interesting shopping mall known as “Larcomar.” There is a well-constructed walk-way that weaves through several parks. The area is well worth seeing visiting the district known as Miraflores.
A 30-minute Uber ride away is also a unique Larco Museum holding ancient Inca artifacts. There is a very good restaurant connected to this museum.

- 888Travel_MoreBurnaby, Canada28 contributionsA short stop at the monument on the way to Paracas. It is a good location to view this nice statue as well as a clear view of Lima. Enjoyed the view and learned something about the war between Peru and Chile.Written 24 May 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
