Through the lesson, we learned to make a proper Pisco Sour, ceviche 3 ways, quinoa tamales, a Peruvian stir-fry, and the most delicious dessert ever, which included layers of chirimoya and lucuma and praline.
We then spent the next several hours in a hands-on, interactive class with Chef Jesus making Pisco sours, baked potato, 3 different types of ceviche, sweet melon, quinoa risotto, and passion fruit dessert.

As others have mentioned, the visit to the independent organic Peruvian coffee roastery, the lucuma fruit milkshakes, the Pisco sour lesson (and results!), the market tour...all were unique and delicious!
My favorite part of the tour was the pisco sour and ceviche making class -- it's set in a local restaurant, the food is delicious, and it's the type of memory that you can bring back home and share with other people.
