What travellers are saying
- Senn H48 contributionsExcellent for jogging, and if the weather isn't cloudy, you might be able to see the dawn or sunset.
Marine Cove has a large playground and delicious meals. An excellent leisure area for cyclists, families, and other people.
However, because there is only one route (route 401) that travels through East Coast Park, getting there by public bus might be a little challenging.Written 4 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Also a gem for plane spotters to witness planes taking off or landing at Changi Airport.Written 25 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - saharSingapore, Singapore23 contributionsAs you can find in the other reviews, the island is just like heaven and truly worthy to spend a day.
But before you pack for lazarus, please consider these tips:
1. Don't try to seat or picnic on the grass(seat on the sands near the sea), there are some tiger bee fly there that they can bite you , as it happened for us. We pass a difficult time that starts from the night that we came back and lasts for a week and we almost tried all medicines to got rid of scratching, but they didn't work.
2. Take "mosquito repellent" spray with yourself. You can find them everywhere, from "seven-eleven" or "watson's" or any other shops, and please take it seriously.
3. Take your foods and drinks, because there is not any shop in the island. You can buy a cooling bag from "Decathlon", its so cheap. A 10 litter bag just cost 13 dollars and can keep your stuff cold for 5 hours at least.
4 Take extra bags to collect your trash, because you should bring them to the main island, there is not any trash can in the beach.Written 4 November 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Not a long path to wander and you may find the shipyard unattractive. However there is a jetty where locals fish and the historic Beaulieu House.Written 4 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Low CSingapore, Singapore957 contributionsIt is small in size but quite a long beach and the view is nice. NPB is now building toilets in the park.Written 29 November 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- gd275Melbourne, Australia167 contributionsWorth taking the cable car to the island and have a leisurely walk around enjoying all the sights and areas this lovely place has to offer. Good idea to go late afternoon and have sunset there as it’s quite spectacular. There is a light show but you are cramped in like sardines so very uncomfortable as hot and humid. We would have enjoyed the show more if it wasn’t so packed, and it started late also, so we were sitting there for what seemed ages in the hot humid heat.Written 24 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
