The outcropping of metal trees is impressive. There is a sky walk you can pay to use which takes you up over the canopy of real trees.

Regret myself for not giving more time to visit this temple, to check the museum of Buddhist art and the main attraction, the sacred Buddha Tooth Relic which is located at the 4th floor. This temple was built in the 2000’s so relatively new; the idea came when the abbot of a Burmese monastery came to visit considering to spread some Buddha relics among the Southeast Asian countries, a temple was needed to house the relic.

The building design is said inspired by classical architecture from China’s Tang Dynasty but somehow I found it resembling with those Medieval Japanese castles. There was a worshipping ceremony when we were there and easy donations with credit cards.

Exceptional collection of flora of all varieties in an amazing display of waterfalls, curving, bending paths, and views from the canopy.

My wife and I visited the National Museum of Singapore to fill a couple of hours during a day out, and we were pleasantly surprised! The exhibits were fascinating, providing a deep dive into Singapore’s history and the journey of how it became the vibrant city it is today. The museum is well worth a visit if you’re interested in learning more about the city and its heritage.

This is a must for anyone interested in the history of Singapore and/or World War II.
The audio tour is well done and worth the extra cost for the enhanced experience.

The location, Ft Canning Park, seems a worthwhile destination to explore as well! The grounds are lovely and the paths well marked.

Striking exhibition space, which you enter past lily ponds. The ticketing is really confusing and we had no idea what we had purchased beyond the digital exhibition. We all enjoyed this and found the visuals and interactivity pretty good, spending over an hour there. But the whole of the rest of the museum seemed to be given over to a Studio Ghibli exhibition which was of no interest to us, so diluting the value of our ticket. There does not seem to be any permanent exhibits and the science content overall is missing.

This museum focuses on the history of trade between Singapore, China, India, and the Middle East dating back to the 1400's. The displays are very well organized and show many objects of trade. I found this museum most Interesting and informative. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The museum can be seen from the Fullerton Hotel and is reached by crossing the bridge over the Singapore River. I highly recommend a visit.

ion orchard is a very busy establishment. it houses more than 300 retail shops that would suit your fancy - bags, shoes, clothes, restaurants, etc. this is where most tourists frequently go along orchard road mainly because there's a subway station inside the mall.

ion speaks of affluence. but you can still find cheap finds during sale season. they say you have not arrived in SG if you missed visiting this place.

The National Gallery is a nice museum featuring historical events about Singapore. I mainly visited for the WWII exhibit. The closest MRT station is Dhoby Ghout. The walk from the MRT station is only a couple of blocks. The chronological display covers pre and post WWII events. The WWII exhibit is interesting but some of the video features are quite blurry. There are actual WWII videos about Singapore on YouTube that are clearer. I recommend visiting this museum if you're interested in history.

One of the coolest places to visit in Singapore. It gives such a great overview of what's going on behind the scenes in the city. Would definitely recommend it to anyone. Plus, it's free!

hey besties, im a student from Singapore Management University (SMU)! decided to check out The Intan because I felt that it was about time for me to enter my artsy and cultural era, and just like i expected, the museum was lit! The Intan gave grace and beauty, and absolutely devoured. the vibes were immaculate, and i was GAGGED the moment i stepped foot inside. the artefacts slayed, and the owner, Alvin, is a KING of yapping and rizzing. to all the sigmas out there, book your appointments now to increase your aura points, and enjoy a GOATED day out at The Intan! The Intan truly is THAT museum.

This is a really special museum- I think the best in Singapore. Went to see the Nonya Batik exhibition which was wonderful. 3 generations of women who produced the most beautiful artwork. Explanations and videos were great. The rest of the museum is a feast for the eyes too. Stunning Peranaken furniture. The clothing exhibition is really worth a look too. As is the porcelain. Loved it.

Really interesting heritage museum. Very small, quick and easy to get around but worth it to understand the heritage of Singapore.
