There are two stores in Chinatown associated with this family. We first met the son and then the father. The items are high quality, beautifully displayed and curated with thought and pride. We spent time learning about tea culture, had demonstrations and purchased several items. We found the owners to be honest, knowledgeable and willing to share their extensive knowledge. This is a must see stop for high quality curios and anything tea related.

Great shop full of everything from kitsch to genuine antiques. Goh and his family are friendly and informative, relaxed and helpful. I enjoyed looking at hundreds of gorgeous things and will go back again to see more. Loved it, a wonderful shop one of the best in Singapore for antiques.

Very nice shop, clearly the prints and maps are of high quality with museum mounting. I recommend this shop for anyone who is visiting the Tanglin Shopping Center.

Initially the staff member made me very comfortable. Then after awhile they were able to tell me the background of some of the items I was looking at. So helpful.
I think their prices are good and they could organise delivery.

Always have the most amazing experience at the store. Shawn never fails to patiently explain and assure me in whatever problems I have with my clock, while David teaches and educates me about the clocks and their mechanisms.

They are experts in what they do and I truly believe they are the best in Singapore be it purchasing a unique piece of history for your home or restoring your antique clock to its full glory.

Loved our recent visit to A Vintage Tale- some great pieces- left with the most sumptuous silk dress originally from the US, a mustard silk dress and a miu miu with a striking kaleidoscope design. Will definitely return on next trip to Singapore.

Charity thrift shop that is well lighted, clean and air-conditioned. Items start from $1, good selection of clothings (women, men and kids), knickknacks and well stocked kitchen and homewares. They carry branded items, vintage and cute stuff too. Always a treasure hunt.

I have sent my boys to the shop when they needed to pick jackets for their grad nights. 100% success rate! Ask the volunteers on duty and they will help you pick items that suit you too.

They have their IG and FB page that highlight latest interesting items but always best to visit in person. I have picked out cute stuff that are not showcased on their socials. My regular haunt for sure.

Good to know that shop is mostly helmed by volunteers and proceeds goes towards helping the disadvantaged.

Fabulous display of Indian colonial furniture plus vintage tiffins and other things. A slight pilgrimage to find but worth the trip! Very welcoming staff too.

At the recommendation of a friend based in Singapore, we took a trip to Journey East (since we were also headed to the historic, now gentrified, district of Tiong Bahru). The people behind this store take regular trips throughout Java to source for vintage teak wood pieces that date between 1910 and 1960. Walking through this store was like taking a trip down memory lane in Asia!

First of its kind, and one of its kind in Singapore!

Large collection of vintage, antique collectible books and decorative items related to food and travel culture.

    Worth a browse.

I missed getting the bulbs for my Turkish lamps- I ventured into my Singapore to see. The shop had Hindi music and I smiled at him. Welcome he said and he is a Pakistani /He had 6 shops in those days and today this is the only one.
Quite a fair good collection of that part of the world. Latter designs of the lamp was not here. Price wise he was ok,compared to others
