Mr. Budi did a great job. A very personable person. We especially enjoyed the puppet studio. Some of the puppets there were several hundred years old.

I would like to mention that the traffic in Jakarta is very bad. There is a lot of time spent in traffic. I am the motor bikes and scooters are quite a nuisance. It seems traffic laws don’t apply to them.

I’m driver was very patient and very skilled, even though he had to deal with the traffic and heavy rains.

We will definitely use this company again for another tour.

I enjoyed the history story from Nicole, my guide, during the walking tour. Her willingness to customize every bits of the tour program to my preference was heart felt.

With a walk through the old harbour and a visit to the maritime museum, a visit to the old center with its classical dutch style town hall (now also a museum)this trip is a very interesting insight into the history of this centuries old town. Don't forget to visit the cafe Batavia, right in front of the former town hall, a very cosy place to take a drink or eat a bit..

Visiting Baduy Luar is a unique experience to see the simple life of the Baduy people close to nature. I have visited Baduy Luar few times and also stayed there for one night. To visit Baduy Luar, you can join a tour package as well. It takes few hours from Jakarta to go there.

Here are some things you need to pay attention to when visiting Baduy Luar, including respecting the customs of the Baduy community, not carrying weapons, musical instruments, alcohol or drugs, not littering, etc. In Baduy Luar, there is no electricity or internet, bathing in the river and cooking in a traditional kitchen. Usually we will stay at a resident's house, one of them is Kampung Gajeboh. They also usually walk barefoot and especially for people of Baduy Dalam, they are not allowed to ride in vehicles at all and can only walk barefoot to go everywhere.

As for the reference, Baduy people (sometimes spelled as Badui or Kanekes) are an indigenous Sundanese ethnic group native to the southeastern part of Banten, specifically Lebak Regency, Banten, Indonesia. As it has been the case for hundreds of years, the main livelihood of the Kanekes people is rice farming. Apart from that, they also earn extra income from selling the fruits they gather from the jungle, such as durian and tamarind-plum, as well as wild honey. This will be a great exprerience back to the nature.

This is the tour I really wanted to join. Why didn't such a smart service exist before?

I have visited more than 30 countries, and these days, in most countries, we can't ride public transport without a smartphone or electronic money. It is important to understand the system of the country in order to explore and enjoy the city, and this service was exactly what I was looking for.

This time, I learned that this service depends heavily on the guide's personality and ability. Communication with each other is very important.

Mr. Agung was a really great guide. He not only showed me around the city, but also taught me many things at every opportunity, such as "how to get around" and "negotiating with tuk-tuk drivers".

Thanks to his support, I can now use public transport to tour the city by myself. He gave me the greatest joy.

Mochi was very educated in the topic and made the tour interesting with a ton of side information. She clearly knows her stuff.
