It's my first experience where I fed monkeys and took them on my shoulders. I am very scared of monkeys but the staff working here encourage me for it...It's an unforgettable experience.

As many people describe Batur in Agung's reviews.

Mount Batur reaches 1700m, it overlooks Batur Lake (1400m). The climb is an easy morning walk, only 300 elevation difference. A good way to start the day, walking with pets and children. Very crowded for sunrise.

Mount Agung is the highest peak of Bali, 3031m. It is officially closed but you can easily climb it, by yourself or hiring a guide (which I recommend). There are 2 ways:
-the "short way" from Pura Pasa agung, you start at 1700m and go to the top crater.
-the "longer" way, from Besakhi at 1000m up to the summit (see pictures I took this morning, January 2020).

This 2nd option is short (8 km) but steep (over 2000m elevation). Basically you start at midnight to arrive before 6 am, for sunrise. You need an average fitness. It requires carefulness, and some equipments: front lights, good shoes and a jacket.
Be aware that descending the higher, rocky part is the most difficult. It's slippery and some stones may fall: remain
    concentrated.
Overall it's a great experience. The sunrise colors and the view is the best reward.

The kids loved the place and they have lots of options for all ages. As an adult I also had a lot of fun.
When we return to Bali we will certainly return to Waterbom.

Still a must visit; so beautiful umbrellas and sea waves view. Although when we visited there, nobody seem to look after the toilet and it was so dirty (I can't mention what I saw).

Stunning sunset, clean beach and nice place to relax. We went there after we had brunch, we bought a couple of beer and we really enjoyed the sunset time

Myself and my 2 children have visited Bali Wake park a number of times over the years but my son didn’t like the wakeboarding so we usually did aqualand only.
We decided to try it a few months ago and my son is now hooked! We came with another family who also wanted to give it a go, they have a little area on the side of the main lake that they taught the kids how to balance etc.. once they got the hang of it they went to the main area to try there!
They have an awesome promo on at the moment with a full days pass for a great price!
We come every Saturday and usually always the last ones to leave. The staff are so amazing and sooo awesome with all the kids we go with! They fully support them and even get in on celebrating with us when one of the kids makes a ramp!! 💪
The food is great and always fresh.. I honestly can’t fault this place or any of the staff!
The owner/manager always says a hi with a smile every-time he sees us..
See you again in a few days 😎

Wonderful examples of contemporary Indonesian art. Well considered and thoughtfully curated mix of display/cabinet pieces, sculpture and paintings. Staff are knowledgeable and very helpful. The large work I selected was carefully packed for its trip back to Australia. Can’t wait to display it!

Enjoyed the traditional market. It was a great experience to see the locals buying fruit and vegetables and local food around the market. There is a buzz amongst the crowd.

This beach is located on the east side so you get perfect view for Sunrise. It has all the luxury resorts located in the Nusa Dua complex and they share this beautiful beach space. It is a very pristine, peaceful and clean beach. There are restaurants, bars located on the beach side and guests can enjoy some good food and drinks while enjoying the soothing sound of ocean waves. Not very crowded as mostly the hotel guests uses this beach. It has some really cool photo spots. Do visit if you are in Nusa Dua complex.

Canggu is a great beach just located about an hour away from Kuta. I would describe it as more of a surfers beach than swimming, however there is still plenty of places to get wet if you want to swim. It is popular so it does get busy! Worth a visit!

Honestly, without a doubt, this is unmissable. I’m a bit of a sea freak. I love the waves, the noise, the smell and the swell.

Take care and walk in good footwear if possible around the rock pools and if you go close to any edge don’t turn your back on the swell.

The waves come in sets about 5-10 minutes apart and even at relatively low tide it can be exiting to watch and feel the waves crashing in - on a windy day at high tide around full moon you’d be absolutely nuts to miss it.

Only down side - go early or late or be inundated with tourists who are noisy, a little rude and quite loud. They get in front of you when you’re taking photos and have little respect and patience for your relative space.

All the vendors (too many of them) show their prices in oriental characters only so don’t get ripped off and take your own drinks.

The sheer volume of these people versus the amount litter left behind tells you all you need to know.

The action sea-side and the ‘Devils Tear’s’ do make up for it, though.
