What travellers are saying
- SharonJT67Durham, UK7,286 contributionsUsed it twice to get to Central & back, we got on early & got a seat on the upper deck it was lovely to see the sights from a higher level, so enter from the rear of the tram & alight at the front paying as you leave, if paying cash you need the correct money but only 3 dollars regardless of journey distance & well worth the experience, does take a while as it gets stuck at lots of red lights but definitely worth the experience. The journey back was slower & very very busy due to being rush hour, so plan accordingly!Written 8 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - fire-tower3,185 contributionsThe permanent exhibits at the History Museum are closed for renovation, but there is currently a free exhibition on the Ancient Civilisation of the Xia,
Shang and Zhou Dynasties in Henan Province. We found it interesting going through this exhibition, to though not everyone may appreciate it. You can club this visit together if you intend to visit the Science Museum next door.Written 8 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Michael KSan Jose, CA1,144 contributionsTechnically the Tin Hau MTR station is in Causeway Bay, but to get to where the action is, the Causeway Bay station is better. Many shops and restaurants can be found near the Causeway Bay MTR station, and this area is a bustling scene of tourists and locals alike.Written 30 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Zandalee EPerth, Australia130 contributionsA large outlet mall, great if you want big brand names for cheaper prices but wouldn't go out of my way to visit this mall, however it is right next to the cable cars to Lantau Island so it's conveniently locatedWritten 12 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - fire-tower3,185 contributionsHad wanted to visit the famed History Museum but were told it was closed for renovation, so we made a detour to the nearby Science Museum. Entrance fee was HKD per person but children who show their student IDs get to enter for free. There are numerous exhibits and many were interactive stations. There was also a video show at specific timings. Worth a visit when travelling with children, but do bring their student cards.Written 8 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Abovetheclouds2,320 contributionsA huge mall located in Causeway Bay with numerous shops and eateries. There are designer brands like Gucci to high street names like Zara. Clean. Standard mall. Elegant. The few times I went, it was never too busy.Written 3 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Abovetheclouds2,320 contributionsCheap and so easy to use. Download one of the applications on your phone from Google Play Store if you need a map or route planner. Clean and safe. Trains are frequent. Everything is very orderly. You cannot eat or drink on the trains. WIFI is available in most MTR stations. I use the Octopus Card which is the best way. You can just top it up with cash when the balance runs low. This card can also be used in convenience stores and other places. If you are a tourist, you can purchase the Octopus Card at a convenience store. One thing I do say is make sure you know which exit you need as there are so many. Exit A may seem close to exit B but it could be a long walk away! With regards to lifts, not all exits have one. There can be a lot of stairs. Generally very easy to navigate. Information is in English as well.Written 2 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Ben KingLondon, UK267 contributionsIf you want a more secluded, perhaps more individualised temple, this is the one for you! Located off of Hollywood Street, Man Mo Temple is an authentic Hong Kong temple with unique features. I particularly like the decor and welcome notes hanging from the ceiling.
