- It was crowded during our visit on a Sunday afternoon.
- There was a food section (Primo) with adequate food selection. Besides some choices for hot food, there is also a salad corner and a live food station (fishball noodles were on offer that day).

It is located above gate 40, in the middle of HKG train stop. If your flight is at gate 200+, be aware that it can take you up to 15 minutes to walk from the lounge to the gate.
The lounge offers good quality food (Chinese double boiled soup, baked vegetables in Portuguese sausage, braised beef, pesto with mushroom sauce). Food is ok, good selection medium quality. Showers are mouldy. At some point (after shower) there was literally no sit available. Reception kept accepting more people in. After complaining manager said he won't refund cause I've stayed over an hour already. To move to the other lounge at gate 40 I had to pay again. - Higuma 2017Australia1,210 contributionsThe lack of toilets. Everything else is great! The toilets themselves are excellent, clean, wide and with their own washing basins. Lounge is ample. Cocktail bar with a lovely barman snd great signature drinks, albeit a poor choice of single malt. Food is gorgeous, small portions, super civilised. The dan dan mien is to kill for. But also worthwhile to visit the buffet. Ultra comfortable. Just need more toilets. We had a family group of six including three children transiting between long flights. Staff were friendly at check- in and whilst we couldn’t initially sit together for the first hour seats became available as people left. Range of food and drink was great. Plenty for young children. As well as healthy alternatives. We particularly liked the fact they had a warm mulled wine machine (it was 10 days from Xmas). The auto beer pouring machine was also impressive. Overall we really enjoyed our stay- knocked back a few wines and beer, charged our devices, used the wifi and we were all well fed. - Sightseer138868432352 contributionsBasic need is a comfortable seating. This place has exceedingly bad seating from a comfort point of view. If you are travelling with young children, stay away from this place. Reception staff is very good. Absolutely a waste of money.
