This was a great, informative tour in and around the coffee farm. Guide James was very knowledgeable, and kind. Also, driver Tim was very knowledgeable about Nairobi area and explained a lot along the way.
This day, I learned a lot!
Worthwhile visit, only 30min drive north of Nairobi.

A good way of spending an evening in Nairobi. Hotel looks really good - a big area with gras, trees, swiming pools, etc.
Food partly good - some of it was probably too long on a fire and was a little bit too dry.
Show was good although I expected that it will be more traditional and it's rather modern african style.

I rate this as my No. 1 or top of my list of must do things in Nairobi !

To give you some perspective my wife and me traveled to Kenya to see the wildebeest migration and Mara crossing. We had some extra time to kill in Nairobi.

This program includes a dinner and stage show (suitable for all ages) .

The dinner is a four course dinner where the main meal is Kenyan Nyamo Choma (Kenyan BBQ) or what is similar to Brazilian rodisio. However the meats tend to be overcooked and consequently tough to eat. If you tell your server in advance that you like your meat rare ( you will actually get it medium) you might enjoy your meal a little bit more.

However the stage show is excellent and more than makes up for the overdone bbq.

The staff are polite and courteous.

This is simply excellent and very good entertainment.

    Expect to pay around $45/adult

Other must do things in Nairobi are:
    The giraffe center
    The BOMAS Show
    The elephant orphanage

Went with Kelvin to the coffee farm, the tour itself isn't extremely long, just under two hours I'd say. You learn the whole process of how they grow, pick, select, roast and package the beans. You will also get a chance to test out your knowledge with a coffee tasting. Great trip!

Recently, I had the incredible opportunity to join a tour led by Bramwell, and it was an experience I'll cherish forever. From the moment the tour began, Bramwell's passion and knowledge about the local community shone through. He was not just a guide, but a storyteller who brought every landmark and street to life with fascinating anecdotes and historical facts.

What really set this tour apart was the way Bramwell gave us a window into the everyday life of the community. We explored hidden gems that I would have never found on my own, and Bramwell's insights helped us see these places through the eyes of the locals

It's a must-do for anyone looking to get off the beaten path and experience something truly unique. Kudos to Bramwell for making this tour a memorable and enriching experience!

The tour of this coffee farm (Fairview Estate) was a great experience. Anna the guide was very informative and really friendly. She shared tons of details and experiences about growing coffee while on the tour of the facility. We were able to see all the parts from early plants, current plants in production, picking, sorting, etc. Then we were able to taste the wonderful different roasts. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone who likes coffee.

My family and I booked the tour on our last day in Kenya, the owner was very knowledgeable. The tea was so good we had to buy some to bring home. The tea and cookies were so good and all homemade. Then came a 3 course lunch that was so amazing, everything was homemade and absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this tour. We purchased our tickets directly from the farm’s website and used our private driver.

Highly recommend this activity! It is a fantastic opportunity to get an insight into Kenyan everyday life at the home of incredibly nice and warm host, Divinah. The food we cooked together was super duper nice. We are also extremely grateful for the wonderful moment we had to enjoy getting answers to all our questions about life in Kenya. Wonderful memory for life!

Having gone to Kenya as a solo female traveler, I wasn’t quite up to brave Nairobi’s nightlife on my own, especially with the things I’ve heard about being out in Nairobi at night. It definitely helps having a local show you around, and Simon is the right man for the job... it felt like I was just out with a friend. Simon’s so friendly, personable, and knowledgeable. Also, every spot was different, had its own vibe, and were definitely THE places to be apparently. People I met in the days following would talk about clubs they’d heard were good or had gone to and I could say “Oh I went there.” Highly recommended if you’re looking to go out in Nairobi.
