The temple was in pretty good shape and amazing to see. - DEK_29Brisbane, Australia1,064 contributions2020 was my second visit to Luxor and the rest of Egypt and on this particular visit i was able to see this mosque up close. Sitting on top of Luxor Temple. it was built at a time when Luxor Temple was full of debris. Perched on the ancient, this mosque stands out. The difference in colors make this happen easily. I was able to view the mosque from all sides. The local guides and others believe that this is the place where Sayedda Zainab stayed at. Sayedda Zainab was the grand daughter of Prophet Mohammed, daugher of Ali and Fatima, and sister of Hasan and Hussain.
