A huge bazaar with an amazing array of goods being sold. Very crowded with people visiting as well as people selling. I tried not to make too much eye contact because once you do that they follow you. I found that the bazaars that we went to in Aswan (at the Nubian village) and other smaller place were more approachable and easier to buy from.

Excellent experience.. had breakfast at Julia's kitchen ... 10 out of 10 for them. The rest of the mall is fairly upmarket with lots of international brands available. Overall a great experience

One of my favorite malls in greater Cairo, always has the essentials with a vast selection of stores. I would recommend the mall any time of the week besides the Weeknd’s

We live this market. It is not touristy. It is hard to get to it is aka Al Khayamiyya if you are using google maps or Google Bab Zuwayla. There are so many textile markets etc. We found a great slipper shop. Do Egypt . Enjoy the journey

This was one of the highlights during my visit to Cairo. When I read about it, I knew I had to go. It all seemed so chaotic. The camels are mainly sold for their meat so keep this in mind if you are a vegetarian. Had a driver with a guide to get there. The drive through the countryside to get there was also worth it. Ladies..take a scarf to wear, dust being kicked up everywhere.

Very nice place to buy some souvenir from Egypt (fix prices, good prices, nice things). They don't push you to buy something if you don't want.
    So i recommende!

Well it’s located at the beginning of the teseen road very close to CFC but whenever possible I prefer going to downtown mall. The parking could be a problem if you are going on a weekend but other than that you have plenty of restaurants, shops and services ….

Recommend if you want to buy small gifts to take and or interesting affordable art. Nice to avoid the khan el Khalili atmosphere and casually browse. They also hold art workshops for kids in the community.

small but worth the hike - if you are surrounded by bullet bras and pre-packaged blankets you are not there yet. Keep moving - also there's a great local market stretch that's fun to walk through and buy some Egyptian pretzels and enjoy

Amazing shop! They have the best selection of authentic papyrus, many different styles, reasonable prices and the staff can talk you through everything in English! Also packed my purchases very well so they did not get damaged in my suitcase travelling home. A real gem, will be back!

We were out near the Airport & needed to pick up some items pre flight so our guide recommended The District as the perfect spot. It is certainly an ultraModern twist for Cairo. Upscale construction, amenities, shops of International brands & Restaurant galore. Whatever you need - it probably found at The District - in Modern Cairo! Enjoy!

Although the mall was an iconic one in last 20 yrs in Cairo and landmark but it had survived with the massive competition and the opening of the new brand malls in Cairo , prices are average and remains reasonable quality .

Negative , kids playground is very poor and needs a refurbishments and staff need to be trained to quality standard.
