Once full of shacks after the Korean War, this moon village is now home to a variety of art. A fun place to walk around for an afternoon. The highlight selfie spot is the Angel wings at the lower level.

This museum is truly breathtaking, I've never been to such a life, and perspective-changing place. After I was finished, I felt almost tempted to come back and do it all over again. Plus the building is very very cool, if I had enough money, I would have a house constructed based on it. It will make you feel so many things at once is kind of overwhelming but in a good way.

A bit far from the city center. Nice view during spring season. This place is less crowded compared to Ewha University but might also because of we went there in the morning. Suggested to go early morning to avoid crowd.

There're varieties of seaweeds, dried seafood and most important of all, Korean ginseng, with better deals. Good experience overall.

We were on a business trip so didn't plan on picking up a table and chairs but the shops were great and I love the old stuff . I'm sure like all old places they hike the prices for the Faranges but who cares , Lovely reception in each place no hard sell , even got water in one place. Just down from the Hamilton hotel. If you like old stuff then this is for you . Take your time and browse

We were supposed to meet Jomin at exit number 2 of Mangwon metro station, to start off the market tour. But the subway system in Korea was a bit confusing for us, and we were late for a good ten minutes.

During the market tour, Jomin was jovial and insightful. She was unflustered when I told her the kids lost something along the way, and we may need to backtrack a little to search for it. Jomin allowed us 5-10minutes, while she carry on the market tour with the rest.

Her patience and good humour was evident throughout the session. We thoroughly enjoyed the hands on cooking class. It's not just the food. But also the good conversation we had with Jomin and the rest of the participants.

    Hello everyone😀

Thank you Chris so much for this experience, good mood and new skills! We really enjoyed the process and lunch. It was very delicious. Both of us were full of positive and inspiration after.

One more good thing is a great organization, we took pleasure from different cute details (tea, photos..). We highly recommend this class to all people, who would like to discover national Korean dishes!

This was our second time to book Top Korea. We were so happy with our private tours care of Miae in 2022. Last December 2024, we had a 5-day private tour with Miae to the following places including Unesco World Heritage sites and beautiful scenery:

    1) Andong Hahoe historical village, Wolyeonggyo Bridge, Byeongsan Seowon Confucian School
    2) Gyeongju historical sites, Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond
    3) Deogyusan National Park
    4)PyeongChang Ski Resort
    5)Samyang Farm
    6)Seoraksan National Park
    7)Sokcho
    8)Yangsan Tongdosa Temple

Given our tight schedule, Miae was excellent in pacing our tours to ensure we get to visit all the sites in her recommended itinerary. Miae also took beautiful photos of my family and brought us to the scenic spots. She also ensured we were okay during the hikes in the mountains.

Miae was very knowledgeable of the historic sites we visited.

Miae would also bring us to the excellent restaurants in the places where we went. We really missed her when we returned to Seoul.

We are looking forward to having our private tours with Top Korea again in our next visit.

Highly recommended - we spent two wonderful weeks with Heather exploring South Korea from Seoul to Jeju Island. She took care of us impeccably, was open to our every suggestion, not limited to rigid plans. She is very knowledgeable about all the places, provides lots of information and always gave great advice on local cuisine. Thanks to her care, we have great memories of our trip to Korea. Highly recommended!

My wife and I did a private night food tour with O’ngo Food. We were lucky to have Jia, the owner, as our guide. She was very personable and did a great job of explaining Korean food and a wide variety of other topics pertaining to Korea.

The tour was from 5-8:30 and was exactly what we were looking for. We sampled a wide variety of Korean dishes including live octopus, Korean barbecue and mung bean pancakes. The variety and sizes were ideal. We also learned a lot about Korean culture and history as we toured.

If you’re looking for a food tour in Seoul O’ngo Food should be your first choice. (She also offers cooking classes which I’m sure are top notch). Highly recommended.
