The view from the top of Seoul Tower was magnificent. I could stare at the landscape below and far out for a long time. I'd say it is worth coming here for sure.

This is a fun activity, but not for those with a height aversion. Located in Lotte World tower, this is an observation area where you get 360 degree views of Seoul. We visited at night, and it was gorgeous, but I'm biased because night views are my favorite. You can shop inside the tower before or after this activity, and there is a cafe on the observation deck level as well where you can purchase snacks or ice cream. I think this is a good activity if you like this sort of thing.

We did the shortest and closest section of the wall. Section 2 starts at Hyehwamun Gate and goes South towards the DDP. When you get to the DDP- you can keep going- through the city (no wall), or just go into the FREE Seoul City Wall Museum.
Passing through Naksan Park was nice. There was plenty of shade on this section which is nice when hot. The path and Wall are clearly makes.

Free birds eye view of deoksugung palace. Apparently open to public only on Saturdays and Sundays. Tickets are timed now whereas before anyone can just take the lift to the coffee Shop at the observation deck level

For 13000 won per adult, the price is worthwhile to get a good view from the 60th floor. You can take bus 261 at the bus stop (100 meter) away to bring you back to the station. There is an art gallery and cafe on the same floor. Worth a visit.

If you are looking for an interesting place to wonder around outside for a few hours in Seoul, this is a good choice. I read about the J Bug building in the Asiana flight magazine and had to visit due to my interest in photographing modern architecture. I was not disappointed. The building design is based on the larva of a geometer beetle making for an interesting structure. It was a beautiful sunny late afternoon when I visited and the views of the building itself and across the river to Gangnam and the Olympic Sadium were special. I did not venture inside, maybe during a winter visit when it is cold outside.

Jongno Tower is a very interesting building with a futuristic style in the outside. I was told that there was supposed to be a deck in the 30 floor where you can see the amazing cityscape of Seoul from there, but you are no longer allowed to go there since they turned the deck into a WeWork office. Anyway, since I was already there I decided to check out the basement and they have a really good library with Korean and English books. And the best part is that the library is next to a food court with restaurants and coffee shops, if you want to take a rest after traveling in Seoul and you are around this building, you can spend some time checking the books or grab a meal at the food court, that will help you to gain some energy to keep exploring the city later.

No where near as good as it used to be, much smaller and no chance at all for photos due to the cross wired security fence (photos on an iPhone are fine due to small lens).

    Limited shade

Food and drink and WC just back inside the terminal
