- Linh I1 contributionAbsolutely amazing. We had a small group of 10 and funnily enough, we were all from Australia. Chris was great. He was very interactive with the group and explained where we were going and what we were having. I have never tried live octopus before, but gave it a shot and it tasted fine. - Ella J3 contributionsVisiting the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) between North and South Korea was an incredible experience that I would highly recommend to anyone. The trip was well-organized, starting with a comfortable bus ride from Seoul to the DMZ.
One of the highlights was the viewpoint where we got a clear view of North Korea, including spotting North Korean soldiers on the other side of the border. The contrast between the tension of the DMZ and the stunning natural beauty of the surrounding area was truly striking.
After exploring the DMZ, we took part in a unique cooking class that added a fun and interactive twist to the day. We brewed our own coffee and learned how to make Gochujang, a traditional Korean chili paste, which we were able to take home—a perfect souvenir of this unforgettable experience.
The guides were fantastic—knowledgeable, engaging, and even funny, which made the complex history of the DMZ both informative and enjoyable to learn about.
Overall, this tour was a perfect blend of history, culture, and nature, leaving me with a deeper understanding of Korea’s history and some amazing memories to take home. Sophia was the best guide, very knowledgeable, timely and best of all, friendly! We were picked up exactly at 8am at our hotel. On the way to the DMZ, Sophia gave us great history information about Seoul and the lead up to the Korean War and DMZ. We spent 3 hours in DMZ in the tunnel, observation tower and unity village. We then had a wonderful Korean lunch before stopping at the suspension bridge. The whole experience was so great and fun. My partner and I are both Koreaboos and having such a personalised, casual but respectful experience was truly a joy. The traditional alcohols and the stories that accompanied the tastings was just so special and the dinner afterwards was sumptuous and such a wonderful time. Veronica was extremely respectful of my accessibility needs and checked in with me in such an empathetic, caring way. It was GREATLY appreciated and I am so sorry this review has taken so long to post!

The food was varied and always really good, with a special mention for the barbecue. He also gave us a lot of information about Seoul.
