The Shwedagon Pagoda is breathtaking. Covered in gold and intricately designed, its beauty speaks for itself. Beyond that, we found its religious significance to be incredibly moving. Seeing locals pray and make offerings provided a deeper understanding of its importance in Burmese culture. This site is a must-see for anyone visiting Myanmar!

It is located in Botahtaung township of Yangon. Car-parking is available. Many tourists from Thailand also visit there. Its not very good for photo scene. Its one of the famous pagoda in Yangon.

This is a quirky old museum that has lots of treasures on 6 floors of artifacts. Alot of it is different and very relevant to the local Burmese culture and traditions. However it is spread out over lots of floors and sections and your could take a day to see the lot if your were interested.

Starting on the second floor this was a surprise to see in Yangon. Could have been anywhere in South East Asia, Lots of shops and a food court. Bottom floor was mostly like a local market.
