- truemaster77Pickering, Canada565 contributionsI signed up for a pub crawl in each if the 3 cities I visited in Colombia (Bogota, Medellin Cartegena) and the Bogota pub crawl was by far the best even though it was the priciest. One thing I appreciated was that we had some bonding time at the meeting point sunny the time we were out in the road everyone was comfortable with each other. Our host Gabby was amazing and charming and did a great job navigating us through the Bogota nightlife in the zona rosa area. I never felt unsafe for the entire process. We started with a beer tasting, then moved onto another location for shots and cocktails and then another location for more shots with everyone bonding even more along the way. All of the locations were fun and hip and we ended the night at club Bruno where we could stay until it closed. There are things in the tour for everyone's tastes. - FoodIsGood33Vancouver, Canada14 contributionsWe did the vegetarian food tour with Andrea who was filling in for the woman who normally runs the tours. Andrea was fantastic - she told us a lot about Bogotá’s culture and the various neighbourhoods and felt like a friend by the end of the tour.
The amount of food was just right - not too much and not too little, and all of it was delicious. A highlight included a deep fried mushroom “alita” and the juices at Uba.
We stopped by a very cool bookstore along the way and browsed there for awhile too which was a nice little detour.

We worked with Jorge to set up private tours; 3 half days for my wife and me and 2 half days for my wife while I was in a meeting. Daniel from Mucura took care of our airport transfers. and in fact the rides to and from the airport were guided tours themselves
Jorge patiently worked with us to customize our tours to our needs and requirements. The guides were excellent. We learned a lot about the history, geography, culture and people of Columbia and Bogota. We felt safe throughout.
