Chiquitania Churches is a world heritage site you must visit
Excellent church with a very picturesque courtyard and fabulous views of the ‘white city’ from the roof.
But you can get into the roof which 1) gives outstanding views of the town, 2) gives you the view of the breathtaking roof itself, 3) wonderful place to sit and relax.

Carved by ancient people - and one wonders how, in the midst of forests and mountains, they found it or chose it - it is a unique archeological site in South America.
It is also unique in that it is the center point of Bolivia and the 360 views are truly breathtaking.
The arch structure makes for photoshoot perfection, especially given the view of La Paz, the mountains, and a distant (active?) snow-capped volcano.
Well worth a trip to Mirador Killi Killi for beautiful panoramic views over the city of La Paz, including an aerial view of the highest national football stadium in the world!

Cerro Calvario Copacabana
But it was absolutely worth it and there are beautiful spots everywhere , where you can stop and get a gorgeous view of the town, of the lake and mountains etc. Best time is of course to be on top during sunset.
Calvario, its a magical mountain, very beautiful views of the town, Lake Titicaca and the church its phenomenal.
The painting shows a rear view of Jesus walking out of the tomb and the burial cloth from the painting merges with a real cloth.
Climb to the top of the "campanario" and enjoy the 360 degree views.
It's a perfect place to loiter alone or with friends, view the remnants of traditional architecture, people watch, argue about the latest football match and so on/ right in the very heart of Santa Cruz de la Sierra.
A big and inviting plaza with a lovely view of the cathedral.
It was built on the site of an earlier fertility temple, and it has both Incan and Moorish aspects.
After a long traveling adventure with road awful conditions and detour of construction, and after many lake sights on our way, we got to Copacabana... and how lucky!: there was a beautiful religious ceremony in pr...

Even on an early morning week day, there were so many local people visiting, coming in with fresh flowers to put on the graves sites and praying on a bench or in the chapel.

Tiwanaku La Paz
We had a wonderful one-day trip to Tiwanaku with a bi-lingual guide who knew a lot both about the history of the site but also about the history and traditions of all indigenous populations in the region.
So that means I see a lot of archaeological sites, and the state of these sites ranges wildly from the phenomenal, such as Abu Simbel, Petra, and Ayutthaya to places such as Delphi or Kato Zakros in Greece or Mile...

The guide takes you to the roof, the bell tower and around the cloisters, as well as to the choir of the church for views down into the church itself, so is well worth it, but you'll see much more of the church if...
Very interesting tour with great works of art, then a visit to the top of the church for a birds eye view and a behind the scenes look at the running of the church.

... you need lo like hiking and exploring rare natural formations, it is very near the city so anyone can go, you need about 2 hours for the visit and prepare a good camera because you will enjoy wonderful views.
Great sightseeing site, dont forget to take comfortable shoes and be careful at the slippery slopes if you want to get to the top, but the view will pay off, you will feel the excitement and the adrenaline of bein...
Beautiful landscape and an enormous pre inca archeological site .A cerimonial gigantic carved stone with the ruins of a village around where 4000 people lived 2000 years ago.
And the views, as you climb out of Santa Cruz are spectacular - especially once you pass Jorochinto.
La Recoleta Sucre
Peaceful and quiet when we went, a perfect place to see a great view of Sucre.
Wonderful views, vendors and relaxing atmosphere.

Very popular overlook in la Paz - a quiet oasis in the city, with stunning views.
Beautiful spot to see the view of La Paz

Easily reachable with a bus from the main square (15 bs two ways), a free guiding on site, and footprints tours for free at 12 and 1 pm
The other great part is to walk on the room and see the amazing roof and tiles, the view of the city and the churches tower.
... interior of the church is not so relevant (except for the very good colonial paintings) as the visit to the convent and the climb to the bell tower and the roof of the church, where you will find very good views.
