The trip: Our guides were excellent!! We were a multi-lingual group, but the explanations were thorough to accommodate for all of our languages. Ricardo was so knowledgeable and friendly. He gave excellent details, a fabulous lunch recommendation, quick to offer to help with pictures and was approachable throughout the trip. Our other guide, whose name I have since forgotten, went the extra mile to help call over some seals for me to get up close to see and get some phenomenal pictures of- Thank you!!!
Overall: In hindsight, I wish I had more than one full day to see Punta Del Este and Casapueblo, but with the time allotted, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! I highly recommend this to anyone considering!

- GoGo2SlowGoDenton, TX1,441 contributionsThe tour was very good and picked us up at our hotel. We then listened to our guide who explained the itinerary and a bit of history. Our first stop was Piriapolis which was charming. We went to the top of the Cero for a great view and photo opportunity. The tour takes you to the Casapueblo which is an amazing tribute to the famous artist - Carlos Paez Vilaro. It looks like Santorini on steroids.
We then went through the back streets of Punta del Este and our guide explained why it's the home of the "rich and famous."
We stopped near Play Brava and had some free time to photograph and get a snack.

- Anthony LLakewood, United States8 contributionsAwesome tasting at Viña Edén. Mario led us through their winemaking process and was extremely knowledgeable and informative. Fun fact - they are the only winery certified to produce kosher wine in Uruguay. As part of the tour, we barrel tasted an aging 2022 Tannat and a 2020 Tannat blend. After the tour we were presented with an amazing spread of local breads, meats, cheeses and the accompaniments to go with our wine tasting. Started with a sparkling wine, their Chardonnay, a Tannat and a Tannat blend. Then we had a tour of Punta Del Este . After lunch we were brought to see La Mano ( The Hand ) the famous sculpture on the beach . After that it was on to Casapueblo which for us was the highlight. - Kevin G1 contributionI'm giving this place a 2-star review solely because of our waiter, who took advantage of perceiving us as American to overcharge us. We ordered one pasta dish for our twin 6-year-old boys to split, yet he charged us for two at around $20 per plate. My husband ordered the drink special, but the waiter claimed it was unavailable and instead offered a "comparable" drink combo—conveniently priced at $20 per drink.
Additionally, we were told the cost of the elevator ride to the restaurant (~$40) would be deducted from our bill. Instead, the waiter claimed he "gave us the bread for free" as compensation—hardly worth $40.

He's very knowledgeable about Uruguay and has fun facts to discuss throughout the entire tour. My kids loved the tour too. He makes sure to involve the kids as much as the adults. Really can't say enough good things about the experience. Highly recommend for anyone looking to book a full day activity. I've been to Punta del Este several times and was able to see sights I've never seen before. We the were lead to our picnic site. Wow ! Very romantic with wines, food and just fun! Later we had coffee and dessert. They packed our remaining wine. Anyway a great day experience. Ryan was the best : great communication , perfect planning door to door to Bodega Garzon, including the wine tour/ tasting and a rezzie for lunch at the gorgeous cafe
Nico , my driver was also an excellent storyteller and local historian as well as getting me to and from location
ryan went the extra mile of giving me several options on excursions as well as additional information on local spots and excellent food and beverage recos both in Punta and Montevideo
all in all , this is your to go for well organized wine excursions in Uruguay
