Osnat and Rabbi Shaul Youdkevitch are the most welcoming and warm hosts to their Shabbat dinner in their home. It’s held every Friday night at 6pm. You need to book this in time as it gets booked very quickly. Essentially you are participating in the all important Shabbat dinner with a family. The atmosphere is just perfect and the food is all home made and delicious. Osnat and their daughters worked hard to put together a table that was laden with great food and wine. They easily accommodated the food requests we had. Most importantly Rabbi Shaul explained the meaning of the Shabbat, it’s significance and walked us through all our questions on Judaism over more than three hours. Time flew. I would do this every time I’m in Jerusalem again on a Friday. Both Osnat and Rabbi Shaul are warm and we felt right at home. This is a must do when in Jerusalem!! No better way to appreciate the culture.
Eli is a great tour guide. He is very knowledgeable of the history and geography of the region and a fun person to see the sights of of the Land of Israel with. I highly recommend visiting the wineries of the Shomron and Benjamin when you are in Israel. Don't miss it.
We had a fabulous tour with Natty. We visited many different stalls and tasted lots of different incredible foods. Natty was knowledgeable fun and explained the history of the market. Highly recommended. Was fascinating! Come hungry!!!
Our tour through the old city of Jerusalem with Hagar was amazing. She was passionate, engaging, and most of all knowledgeable. Her insight as a resident of Jerusalem combined well with her obvious interest in history, and made this an unforgettable experience.
Matan was an excellent host, very knowledgeable and personable. I would thoroughly recommend, one of our favourite parts of our trip so far. Worth 50 shekels
Esther’s husband spoke to us about tge deep religious and spiritual reason people like them are in Israel - because it is written in the Torah that this is where it will happen: the Messiah and redemption.
Ori guided us (a family of 4 with adult children) on a fun, informative and delicious day of wine tasting in the Judean Hills. Ori was not only knowledgeable about the history of the Judean Hills but he is also very knowledgeable about wine and wine-making. He shared this expertise in an engaging, personalized and relaxed way. I highly recommend planning an engaging and delightful day like this with Ori
My husband and I did this with a group of friends during our time in Jerusalem. Highlight of our trip. Yisraela is a wonderful cook and a mesmerizing woman, and we loved the time we spent with her and her family!!
We were group of 6 , loved the mixture of the sightseeing and the off-road . Some of the sights are really monumental like Jerusalem and Masada while on the other side of the spectrum is the Holman highs wild Wild West :-) Loved the local street good and mostly the gokedem guide for the oversight and linking history and present of this magical land. We could have few more days to relax off the beat and enjoy tel aviv...
