We had an amazing day! Our guide was very nice and prepared a lovely lunch for us. Unfortunately we did not see any elephants but, of course, it's wildlife. However, we managed to take a glimpse of a Leopard and observe two sloth bears among many other animals.

An early morning start, 4am pickup from the hotel. So worth it for a magnificent sunrise in Yala reserve. The jeep itself was part of the fun, some serious off-roading! We were so lucky to see 3 different leopards. The best one we were with no other jeeps around us, saw a leopard go into a bush and waited as the safari guide said he might cross in front of us. Sure enough, he was within metres of us as he ran across our path. Very cool moment.

We also saw a mongoose, elephants, lizards, buffalo, vdome stunning birds. We had a great time.

To top it off after about 4 hours safari we were taken to Red restaurant for lunch, 3 courses. Best food we had outside of the hotel, stunning Sri Lanka curry -7 dishes, be warned.

Trip booked on Viator used agent BMT Sri Lanka. Very professional, giving us information through whatsapp. We had a private driver Dinesh who was like lovely and kept us cool with bottled water and a nice air conditioned car. Tip top trip, a highlight of the holiday.

This was hands down the best trip I have ever been on. And while Sri Lanka itself is stunning, what truly made this experience unforgettable was Pradeep—our tour guide, but more than that, someone who turned this trip into something truly special.

From the moment we landed, Pradeep was there to welcome us, right on time, with the warmest smile and beautiful beaded necklaces that made us feel instantly at home. He didn’t just guide us through Sri Lanka; he curated an experience so personal, enriching, and immersive that it felt like traveling with a close friend who genuinely cared about making every moment special.

One of our first stops was a Spice Farm, where I had the most incredible spice tea I’ve ever tasted. Along the way, we paused at a viewpoint with unreal scenery, where I met the sweetest grandmother with the most beautiful jewelry.

Then came Kandy, where Pradeep arranged for us to witness a mesmerizing cultural theatre performance that brought Sri Lankan traditions to life in the most vibrant way. He also took us to a serene Buddhist temple, where we had the privilege of soaking in the spiritual energy, and along the way, we even stumbled upon a street performer with the biggest snake I’ve ever seen! And just when we thought it couldn’t get better, Pradeep ensured we stayed at the most amazing hotel in Kandy, where the buffet breakfast was out of this world—especially the curry chicken, dhal curry, and roasted potatoes. If you ever visit, trust me, this breakfast is a must-try!

We also did a bull ride, which was unexpected but so much fun. Then came the climb up Lion Rock Sigiriya—completely worth it for the views alone—followed by a visit to Dambulla Cave Temple, which was just stunning in every way. At some point, we stopped at a colonial bridge, where I took some of the best pictures of my life, and also saw waterfalls so beautiful they didn’t feel real.

On the final day, we embarked on a boat ride through the lagoon and mangroves, where we saw majestic eagles soaring above us and even got a firsthand look at how cinnamon is made.

I cannot emphasize enough that none of this would have been the same without Pradeep. His passion for his country, his deep knowledge, and his genuine warmth made every single moment feel special. He didn’t just take us from one destination to another—he wove stories, created connections, and made sure we experienced the heart and soul of Sri Lanka. I felt like I made a new friend in this trip, which to me just as more valuable than the entire experience.

Thank you, Pradeep, for the trip of a lifetime! 🇱🇰✨ Can't wait to be back!

Dhananjaya was great, very courteous, friendly and accommodating. He went out of his way to show us the sights we wanted to visit. Unfortunately we ran out of time to see everything, maybe we should have spent less time at the tourist trinket store which we thought was overpriced (even though we had an 8 hour tour, there was more traffic on a Friday work week than we expected) we didn’t want to miss our cruise ship🤣. All in all we were very happy.

The agency TravelbeindoM was great with communication and made sure to send pics of car/license plate and pick up point . We were impressed with their follow up on information and our questions

Highly recommend this company and tour! Thank you for the tour.

It was a great bird watching tour! We started early, 0530am, and got to the marsh just in time for sunrise! My driver Gayan was at the hotel 15 minutes before the scheduled pickup, so we had time to get a quick breakfast and tea!

The boat captain was awesome, very knowledgeable, and quick to spot lots of tiny birds in the distance! We got to see 6-8 Kingfishers and some naughty monkeys!

A delicious coconut, some bananas, and a smooth ride made the experience worth repeating!

This is an excellent trip if you are based in Colombo and aren’t planning to stay in Kandy. This was exactly what I was looking for as a quick introduction to the culture triangle with my limited time. It is a long day but you see a lot.

The guide and drive were excellent not only in knowledge, and making sure we had everything we needed. But also driving respectful and safely.

It was a busy day at the Cave temple, Sigiriya and the additional safari due to it being a national holiday. So check that and I would recommend any other day.

If it wasn’t for our tour guide setting us up with a local Sigiriya guide at the site. I think I would still be in line trying to climb, due to the amount of people.

    I highly recommend this tour

The sights were fantastic! Absolutely the highlight of my trip to SriLanka. The tour company was OK, very efficient, but the driver only spoke about 10 words to us the whole day (14 hour tour). They also insist on taking you to an Ayurvedic garden to try to sell product (which I'm assuming the tour company would receive a commission on). Even though we insisted before we arrived there that we were not interested in going there or buying anything, they took us anyway. They didn't give us a hard time for not buying anything and we were only there for about 15 minutes but it shouldn't be a mandatory stop if the customer doesn't want it. Otherwise, everything was fine.

Great trip. This was the only one I saw that offered both the sites (Dambulla,Sigiriya) and elephants (safari).
It is a packed day with many hours in the car but we were able to hustle and do all 3. No leisure time but well worth it to be able to do it all. The hike to the top of the sigiriya mountain is a bit more than 30 mins if you push it (think climbing (think climbing an 80 story stairwell). We were luck to see a heard of 20 or so elephants reasonably quickly. Both were fantastic. If you are concerned about time the Dambulla cave was the one I would drop to spend more time at sigiriya.

I was a solo traveller. I was paired up with one other traveller ( English speaker.)

Tour operator was very good. Good communication on whatsapp and accommodating to last minute booking.

Note that the prices for the entries do pile up. Much more than the tour. But worth it to me

Great leopard safari, the communication from the start to end was excellent. We have seen many wild animals in yala park. The jeep was very comfortable and it was 4 hours journey in the park. We really enjoyed the tour and well organized from the company.

We arrived in Sri Lanka late afternoon and had a private night tour of Colombo booked due to our short stop over, however wanted to see what we could. Booking times were available until late, however with a 5:30pm arrival, Trip Advisor advised an 8:30pm night tour would be fine when we checked with them.

Driver was 30mins late, and we had to chase up Trip Advisor to see if they were coming. On arrival he didn’t seem to know what was included. Our hotel manager even was concerned and spoke with him to ensure we were all good and even obtained his contact number.

Private guided tours in the past, we would be provided with local knowledge etc.
We arrived at the first stop, and were asked on arrival to pay for entry, luckily I had my confirmation on me to show this was advised to be covered in my package, eventually they let us in. Our guide stayed outside, so we were not really sure what we were looking at, if we could take photos etc.

Next stop, closed, and the guide advised that this time of night most places were closed. Took us to what was open. Again stayed at the car and we wondered around ourselves not sure what was going on at the stop.

Found it very disappointing. If we booked as per timeslot availability and advised it was fine, Trip Advisor should have know venues would be closed and we wouldn’t get the experience paid for. With later times online available, those booking these times would miss most of it. Felt like good money was taken with little care or consideration of the experience.

We hired a 10 seater, Micro Tourer van from Bookingmart Holidays, for our 8 days Sri Lanka Trip. We were a group of 7 male friends from New Delhi, India. We were on the ‘Ramayana Trail Trip’ i.e. touring cities like Nuwara Eliya, Ella, etc.

The driver Maheeshan was polite and punctual. He was on time at the Colombo AirPort to pick us up. The van condition and it’s AC was quiet good. He kept the van neat and clean, washing it daily after the trip. There was a complimentary Wi-Fi in the van for all of us, whose speed/strength was quiet good, and we were able to use the free WhatsApp calls facility from Sri Lanka to India.

Overall we were well satisfied with the services and would strongly recommend their services to others. Thanks

This was an excellent day trip. We fed the elephants at the pinnawala orphanage ( amazing expwrience) then went to the tea factory which was really intetesting. Next onto Kandy and spent a lovely couple of hours in the beautiful botanical gardens before going to the Temple of the Sacred Tooth. Driver was helpful informative and flexible. Would highly recommend this trip...excellent value for money and passed through some stunning scenery.
