- In the early 1980’s I became friends with several Cambodian families who were living as refugees in the city I’m from because of the atrocities that had occured here and elsewhere in Cambodia.
It was also because of them and their kind and gentle ways that I developed a love for the Cambodian people.
The things I learned from them was brought home by the enormity of what happened at this site. It is my sincere prayer that this memorial will continue to serve to remind all us of our common humanity.Written 12 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
