- AKS0817Mumbai, India254 contributionsAmong the top 3 attractions to visit when in Baku. Its a stunning piece of architecture that houses through 6 floors of exhibits about the history & culture of Azerbaijan including archealogical artefacts, art & paintings, traditional carpets and also a showcase on the political history of Azerbaijan. I spent close to 3 hours by myself there and did not realize where the time whizzed by.
The entrance to the museum is 15 AZN and there are guides available in both English & Russian language. The center also houses an auditorium where cultural shows and events are held and there is a nice cafe on the ground level that serves coffee and delicious snacks and light bites.
