- Chris G1 contributionAmazing experience, very wholesome and rewarding to see the elephants living their later life in peace. The construction of the hospital is exciting and look forward to following its development. Being able to feed and be up close to the elephants but at the same time knowing they are not confined and free to roam. Staff were very professional and shared lots of information. Hospitality and food is excellent. Highly recommend and hope it helps to change the lives of more elephants that are sadly still trapped in shows and being forced into labour. - Brett S7 contributionsThe sanctuary was a great experience. They take good care of the elephants and you can tell when you see how happy they are. The guides spoke great English and answered a lot of in-depth questions about the elephants care. You also get to feed the elephants fruit. - Brett S7 contributionsThe zipline was fun and the guides on that tour were a lot of fun. They also ensured we were safe the entire way through. The guides even helped take photos and videos of us on the line to get better videos.
The ATV was also very fun and they took us by big Buddha for photos. The ATV guide showed us how to operate them and started to get up to high speeds toward the end which was fun. My only criticism is we booked the two hour ATV, but there wasn’t really enough course to warrant a two hour ride and it started to get repetitive at the end. I still recommend this but would suggest the 60 or 90 minute drive.
Lastly, the course is very muddy. - Elisabeth E26 contributionsFantastic. An amazing sanctuary dedicated to rescuing old and disabled elephants to give them a great retirement. We chose it as there is no human bathing or washing elephants and it is ethical. The canopy walkway was excellent, they served us delicious drinks and snacks and the guides were so friendly and knowledgeable. The big buddha and views are great, complimentary water and wipes prpvided (for the dust!). - Derek JJakarta, Indonesia220 contributionsfrom the transfer to the ATV location, everything went really smoothly. quads were in great condition and our guide was superb in finding out our abilities with the routes and quads. he took really good care of us, on and off the ATV.
the main location where you arrive at first has drinks, food and toilets and all the safety equipment you'll be given.

This was my 4th tour with them, we done two tours 6 years ago on our honeymoon and we new then we will need to do these tours with our children (5 & 11) I new the boats were safe and i new Capt Mark only had skilled crew so was comfortable taking my children.
The sunset tour is extremely relaxing, great for couples, families…..whoever.
the views of the sunset are breathtaking and the bioluminescent Algae was magical. Food was delicious and the kitchen staff work hard.
The Kayak lads are so hard working, friendly, caring and just lovely people, Marks struck gold with them.
One final thing……Thank you for joining us on the boat Mark, it was lovely seeing you enjoying your own creation.
See you in the future :)
