To understand the level of prostitution in Thailand fully, a place like Walking Street, is a good place to start. During day time it can be visited with kids, as a quick walk through, as the area doesn’t unfold entirely untill after 20.00 in the evening.

From then on the madness begins, with countless girls in mini skirts hollering at bypassers to get them into their go-go bars, or bars build up around the lady drink approach to prostitution.

Weed shops are spread out every
where along the strip and lets its visitors slip into a haze of smoke, drinks, bizar sex shows and girls at various prices.

The whole go-go bar phenomenon is taking vulgarity to new places, as the girls are lined up inside the bars with numbers, stacked together like cattle on podiums for interested buyers to choose from.

With this being said and from the perspective of a foreigner, who just came to have fun getting wasted on his vacation, Walking Street is, an unbelievable sight and a fun place to hang out and go people watching.

The place is designed for you to loose your mind and get scammed for a good deal of your holiday savings that’s for sure.

A wise choice could be not to get too wasted, and stay alert.

Fantastic day out at Ramayana. Booked return private transfers from Pattaya which were reasonable and (relatively) punctual.

The slides were brilliant fun, a great mix of high thrill and more mellow. Managed to go on every ride multiple times, arriving there at 11 and leaving about 4:30 with a stop for lunch in the middle.

My partner is gluten free and the restaurant catered for her which was a pleasant surprise as normally it's really difficult to get sorted in places like this.

Food was reasonably priced and was decent quality.

Rented a cabana which was a lovely little place to relax out the sun in privacy, highly recommend. Yes they are basic but they're cheap!

Eager to see some monkeys we went to Monkey Beach on our first day at Koh Larn. At first we only saw a monkey crawling around the rocks from a distance. But then later on they came down a group of them and were fed by tourist surrounding them, in a little tree where they for sat for some time. The animals were calm and used to people. Some even petted them with succes, and it was a funny thing to watch animals like that, come down so close to interact with people in the way they did.

Aside from that - the beach is small, but very nice. Great calm water, and nice sunbeds at a reasonable price.

We had an amazing dinner in a restaurant, that I unfortunately couldn't find on TripAdvisor, called Lipool Seafood Restaurant. These guys got their kitchen skills perfected to an extremely high level.

Busy and full of people having their shopping. Every kind of shops, ideal place for massages, good and different food at cheap prices. You can walk all day along the streets or inside the malls.

Ok, so I hate shopping...but this is a really clever idea for a mall! It was hot and wet and we needed a little break after visiting the Sanctuary of Truth, so we decided to check this place out. Designed as an airport, with each floor offering a different destination, this mall had many stores, restaurants and snack venues as well as a movie theater.

We had lunch at a Thai and Indian restaurant while people watching and also checked out a large grocery store as we like to pick up some of the true local foods wherever we visit. We had a great time and I would highly recommend at least a short visit if you have time.

Have been several times in Jomtien an at Jomtien beach. It is quieter on Jomtien Beach than on Pattaya Beach, which makes for a better experience.

This place is easy to find. The support crew are excellent at setting you up. I enjoyed the experience very much. We went on a Saturday evening and it was very quiet. Make sure your phone is fully charged.

Have been to the Pattaya beach area several times.
This area has a lot of life. Was at Pattaya beach myself on New Year's Eve 2024/25, and there were a lot of people there then.

I previously visited in 2019 and wanted to support the park in its work looking after the Tigers. There is a line between being a good place for the Tigers or a bad place but for me while some of the cages seem on the small side I’m sure they get rotated to have more space and they are fed and cared for.

I arrived around 10:30 on a Sunday, not too busy but by the time I left around an hour later the reception area was very busy so I suggest and early visit.

The elephant ride was a lot of fun and they even walk into the water (don't worry, you won't get wet). The place itself was not too great, but the there's a cool cafe where you can feed the elephants in the water. The show was terrible, just some ladyboys dancing around with a bird and a snake.

The park is well kept with many stone sculptures. Couple of birds, giant cat fish etc. Some tigers are kept in small cages. The ones they keep for photographs clearly look drugged. You can feed elephants and Giraffes.
Crocodile show is scary. The setup is very old and the place as expected is stinky. We had visited the park for our daughter and she liked it, hence gave it 4 stars.
