The slides were brilliant fun, a great mix of high thrill and more mellow. Managed to go on every ride multiple times, arriving there at 11 and leaving about 4:30 with a stop for lunch in the middle.
My partner is gluten free and the restaurant catered for her which was a pleasant surprise as normally it's really difficult to get sorted in places like this.
Food was reasonably priced and was decent quality.
Rented a cabana which was a lovely little place to relax out the sun in privacy, highly recommend. At first we only saw a monkey crawling around the rocks from a distance. But then later on they came down a group of them and were fed by tourist surrounding them, in a little tree where they for sat for some time. The animals were calm and used to people. Some even petted them with succes, and it was a funny thing to watch animals like that, come down so close to interact with people in the way they did.
Aside from that - the beach is small, but very nice. Great calm water, and nice sunbeds at a reasonable price.
We had an amazing dinner in a restaurant, that I unfortunately couldn't find on TripAdvisor, called Lipool Seafood Restaurant. After a while it becomes tiresome when some grab your foot. Unfortunately the sea and beach are getting buried under litter and whatever the tide washes up. Our last visit included stepping in thick crude oil. - PigeonHUnited Kingdom42 contributionsIt was not a proper art gallery, however, provided lots of opportunites of taking interesting and lovely 3D pictures and videos of yourself such as in the mouth of a shark or on a magazine cover etc. The visual effects on the pictures were great. A few fun things to do, jet ski's, volleyball, and of course some beach umbrellas. It's fairly small so it can be a bit crowded on the weekends, but overall decent. Many people on stage so everywhere you look is a feast for the eyes. The girls are beautiful. You can have your photo taken with any of them afterwards for 100baht. The onsen is even bigger than the one in Bangkok. The interiors are beautifully designed, and the outdoor green garden adds to the overall tranquility.
What impressed me the most was the attention to detail in every aspect. The locker rooms and showers are spacious and well-maintained, providing a comfortable start to the experience. The onsen features six different pools to choose from, each with its own unique charm. The large sauna and steam room were delightful additions, contributing to a thoroughly relaxing atmosphere.
I also appreciated the thoughtful layout, including a spacious bar/restaurant area and the snooze area where you can unwind or even take a nap. The elegant lobby and tasteful decorations create a welcoming ambiance.
The staff at this onsen are exceptionally helpful, adding a personal touch to the entire experience. - Stuart Judd3 contributionsI booked this boat trip for a surprise for my young son also inviting a few close friends, The yacht was incredible and certainly had the wow factor, service on board was amazing staff that went above and beyond to look after everyone. My son happily spent the day fishing and staff would take him off on the speed boat to take him to the best spots.
