The Sanctuary of Truth in Pattaya is an architectural marvel that offers visitors a unique and profound experience. This magnificent structure, entirely made of wood, stands as a testament to traditional Thai craftsmanship and philosophical thought. Unlike any other attraction in Pattaya, the Sanctuary of Truth is not just a visual feast but also a spiritual journey that delves into the essence of human philosophy, life, and the universe, as interpreted through art and architecture.

One of the most compelling aspects of the Sanctuary of Truth is its intricate carvings that cover every inch of the structure. These carvings depict various themes from mythology, religion, and philosophy, illustrating the importance of truth, kindness, and the cycle of life. The attention to detail and the sheer scale of the artwork are awe-inspiring, making it a perfect spot for those who appreciate art and culture.

Visitors to the Sanctuary of Truth can expect more than just a tour of a beautiful building. The sanctuary offers a reflective experience, encouraging guests to ponder the deeper meanings behind the carvings and the philosophies they represent. It's a place where art, culture, and spirituality converge, providing a unique perspective on the human condition and our place in the universe.

The location of the Sanctuary of Truth, right by the sea, adds to its mystical allure. The ocean backdrop provides a serene and majestic setting, enhancing the overall experience of visiting this extraordinary monument. Whether you're interested in architecture, spirituality, or simply looking for a peaceful retreat from the bustling city, the Sanctuary of Truth in Pattaya is a must-visit destination that promises a truly enriching and unforgettable experience.

An hour is enough time to alot for this "must see" spot. For me it's a "been there, done that" and I have no reason to return spot. Definitely check it out at night...it's quite interesting!

Very nice. Close to downtown. Free to enter. Ladies must cover knees and shoulders. Only one half to one hour to see. Easy stairs to the top.

You grab a speedboat at the pier, takes about 15 min to get to the island. Tien beach is another 10 minutes, on the back side of the island, but worth it. Less busy there.
Beach is gorgeous, clean and nice. Chairs are cheap to rent, and the local food and drinks are reasonable and readily available. Water is warm.
I strongly advise against renting a Jetski. Way overpriced and it just takes away from the beauty of the place.
    Great for a day trip

This is one of the best shopping malls you can have in Pattaya. While you enjoy shopping you can also enjoy good food there. You can also go to watch movie in the big screen. It has various kinds of items you can shop for. Sometimes sales are going on. I loved my time wirh friends and family there.

We came from Bangkok to find a beach is quite nice & not too busy, however, the sea is filthy with sewage & sediment floating on the top. Enter at your own risk!

A hidden gem just outside of Pattaya, Viharn Sien (also known as Viharnra Sien or Anek Kusala sala) is often overlooked by tourists. We had it all to ourselves majority of the time. A very few people visited apart from us on the day we were there.Viharn Sien is a museum hosted in the former temple that houses an impressive collection of Chinese arts and various artefacts. The main hall is a replica of the Hall of Mental Cultivation in Beijing’s Forbidden City and houses a stunning collection of porcelain and bronze sculptures. One of the most impressive exhibits in the museum is the collection of over 300 terracotta warrior replicas and horses, which are arranged in rows just like the actual terracotta warriors in China. There are three floors to visit and plenty of rooms with a lot to take in (but the interiors are kept pleasantly cool so it is really nice to wonder around). Also, do not skip the exterior around the museum. Some of the sculptures of mythological characters are even more incredible than Marvel’s heroes.

The park is well kept with many stone sculptures. Couple of birds, giant cat fish etc. Some tigers are kept in small cages. The ones they keep for photographs clearly look drugged. You can feed elephants and Giraffes.
Crocodile show is scary. The setup is very old and the place as expected is stinky. We had visited the park for our daughter and she liked it, hence gave it 4 stars.

Like Jomtien Beach, our last visit here was 1988. Back then it was a brave person that swam in the ocean with the amount of untreated effluent that was being discharged and the beach sand was less than clean. Seems to have much improved, many beachgoers crowding the area and, in the water, a myriad of dining outlets, massage parlors, bars, shops, whatever the tourist desires. I think I prefer Jomtien.

always nice to take a relaxing walk, be it at night, be it in the morning (midday sun will kill you). about 5 years ago and again 4 years ago they upgraded the beach bloulevard (sea side). They removed the hangaround spots, like chairs which itself is a pity, however the boulevard itself is more spacious, wider and they made the beach far more attractive by widening the beach (add sand mike it much more enjoyable). So it is fun to walk. Unfortunately the loud "barside"still is a complete desaster with traditional beerbars, load music and "hostesses". Still work to do there. Moreover there still too many "freelance hostesses" on beach side. And it is not safe for teen girls to walk alone. My 12yo daughter was approched by several "monguls" asking her how much. She got scrared and confused. Pattaya police should beat the crap out of these creaps (to my opinion). There are lots of police on the beach but they are inactive, hiding on the motorbike behind signs and stuff they are doing litterally nothing but waiting for there shift to end. No pro-active preventive clearly visible presence. To my opinion they should servey by food or on bike the beachroad, see and act rather than "hanging around" killing the shift. It works in downtown Amsterdam it should work in down town Pattaya.

Had the opportunity to buy fresh seafood here. Because a friend recommended it, it's fresh, new and cheaper than anywhere else. There is also a seafood grilling service. And there is a small service fee. Overall, it's good and worth it.

This is a pretty vibrant night market with DJ music sounds. It isn’t as big as some markets that I have been to but it does cover the majority of shopping needs. The food stalls are particularly good. It does need more trash containers which may help with rubbish left on the floor.
