Amazing place to visit while in Bangkok. They make you wear a helmet. You need to cover your legs, they do rent sarongs for $3.00 US dollars. You go in groups with a guide according to the language you speak, very informative. Souvenir shop and restaurant on premises.

To understand the level of prostitution in Thailand fully, a place like Walking Street, is a good place to start. During day time it can be visited with kids, as a quick walk through, as the area doesn’t unfold entirely untill after 20.00 in the evening.

From then on the madness begins, with countless girls in mini skirts hollering at bypassers to get them into their go-go bars, or bars build up around the lady drink approach to prostitution.

Weed shops are spread out every
where along the strip and lets its visitors slip into a haze of smoke, drinks, bizar sex shows and girls at various prices.

The whole go-go bar phenomenon is taking vulgarity to new places, as the girls are lined up inside the bars with numbers, stacked together like cattle on podiums for interested buyers to choose from.

With this being said and from the perspective of a foreigner, who just came to have fun getting wasted on his vacation, Walking Street is, an unbelievable sight and a fun place to hang out and go people watching.

The place is designed for you to loose your mind and get scammed for a good deal of your holiday savings that’s for sure.

A wise choice could be not to get too wasted, and stay alert.

Samae beach is the best to vidit, additional 30 baht and 10 minutes by Sangtaw from Naban or Tawaeng. Its serene, peaceful, without jetskies around and lots of tourists. Loved it. Only pebbles when reaching the sea is voncern, but its hardly 8-10 feet, then its soft silky sand and cleanest water.

Busy and full of people having their shopping. Every kind of shops, ideal place for massages, good and different food at cheap prices. You can walk all day along the streets or inside the malls.

Ok beach, much better than Pattaya that's for sure. I would go to koh Lan though to one of the beaches there. Jomtien is nice though, relatively clean and easy to find food etc.

A really unique shopping mall experience, complete with food court. I was impressed with the theming, layout and cleanliness! They have a good selection of shops and boutiques. They also had a cool Japanese themed restroom on one of the upper floors.

You need to buy a refundable cash card to buy meals in the food court, or you could choose from numerous surrounding restaurants that accept cash. We were overwhelmed by choice and slightly disappointed with the roast meat dish (dry) from the wonton/meat stall in the centre of the food court. On the other hand I was happy with the coconut ice cream which was only 22 baht, desserts and drinks were tasty from here.

We only had a couple of hours to spend here, but if you like to shop at your leisure and take some photos then I advise to allow for a whole morning or afternoon here - as I am planning for my return trip!

It was not a proper art gallery, however, provided lots of opportunites of taking interesting and lovely 3D pictures and videos of yourself such as in the mouth of a shark or on a magazine cover etc. The visual effects on the pictures were great. Would recommend to stay at 2 hours.

Have been to the Pattaya beach area several times.
This area has a lot of life. Was at Pattaya beach myself on New Year's Eve 2024/25, and there were a lot of people there then.

The park is well kept with many stone sculptures. Couple of birds, giant cat fish etc. Some tigers are kept in small cages. The ones they keep for photographs clearly look drugged. You can feed elephants and Giraffes.
Crocodile show is scary. The setup is very old and the place as expected is stinky. We had visited the park for our daughter and she liked it, hence gave it 4 stars.

Ride the baht bus to the North end of the line and find this local fish market. Walk around seeing the sights, sounds and smell
Pick your own fresh( still alive seafood) take it to one of the stalls and they will cook it for you while you sit and wait with a reasonably priced drink. Then sit and eat your purchase.
    No better place for seafood

A quieter beach in Pattaya, it's nice if you want to avoid more of the heavy hustle and bustle you see in central. A few fun things to do, jet ski's, volleyball, and of course some beach umbrellas. It's fairly small so it can be a bit crowded on the weekends, but overall decent. It's not the crystal clear waters you envisage of Thailand, but this side of the country never is!

always nice to take a relaxing walk, be it at night, be it in the morning (midday sun will kill you). about 5 years ago and again 4 years ago they upgraded the beach bloulevard (sea side). They removed the hangaround spots, like chairs which itself is a pity, however the boulevard itself is more spacious, wider and they made the beach far more attractive by widening the beach (add sand mike it much more enjoyable). So it is fun to walk. Unfortunately the loud "barside"still is a complete desaster with traditional beerbars, load music and "hostesses". Still work to do there. Moreover there still too many "freelance hostesses" on beach side. And it is not safe for teen girls to walk alone. My 12yo daughter was approched by several "monguls" asking her how much. She got scrared and confused. Pattaya police should beat the crap out of these creaps (to my opinion). There are lots of police on the beach but they are inactive, hiding on the motorbike behind signs and stuff they are doing litterally nothing but waiting for there shift to end. No pro-active preventive clearly visible presence. To my opinion they should servey by food or on bike the beachroad, see and act rather than "hanging around" killing the shift. It works in downtown Amsterdam it should work in down town Pattaya.
