- QatarnowDoha, Qatar90 contributionsThe grounds are beautiful and the crocodile show is good considering other similar shows in Thailand. Not far from central Pattaya.Written 31 January 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- nyyKuopio, Finland8 contributionsBeautiful place, a lot of butterflies. Friendly personnel. Small and affordable coffee shop, which offers cold and warm drinks and some snacks. I liked it a lot.Written 14 December 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Johnny NAalborg, Denmark20 contributionsI have been to Amazon fishing park many times, and always enjoy it. The dominant species are various catfish, which are the ones you will catch most of, and which all gives a very good fight. I've caught red tail catfish up to approx 22-25kg here and other cat fish in th 10-15 kg. range. Another species you are bound to catch, is alligator gar. I've seen these up to 6 kg, but the guides assures you, you can catch them up to 20kg. Pacu (5kg) and featherfish (3kg) are rare, but also present. Finally, they have arapaima up to 35-40kg - I've only caught a 7 kg. baby once. The existing thing at Amazon Fishing park is, that they stock predatory fish, unlike the catfish found in most other fishing parks in Thailand.
The visit includes a meal and two bottles of beer or water and more can be bought. Bait for fishing and rod rent is included, as is the guides. You can buy special bait for special species, such as chicken chunks for big alligator gars. Finally, transport from and to your hotel is also included.
The reason for 4 stars and not 5 stars are: The trip is expensive - 4500 bath (up from 2500 bath when they started). Also, some years ago, they introduces a fee for bringing a non-fishing friend (which was free of charge when they started). But still, when I look at the pictures we take when visiting Amazon Fishing park, I know from the fish and my big smile, that I will be back next time I visit Thailand.Written 18 January 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - sedi jTehran, Iran64 contributionsI visited there with my friend but we think differently. I love there and she think there was nonsense. When I visit there a Russian couple managed there. The wife guided me through the garden. She couldn't speak english good but she's kind and knowledgeable.
Inside the building they arranged spice, herb and medicinal plants in different parts and you can find what you want in its partition easily.Written 4 May 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - David O6 contributionsBeautiful area to view. Interesting background into the founder of the park and his Chinese influence in the post WWII Thailand's economy.Written 30 December 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Kaushik GMumbai, India4,068 contributionsWe had visited this attraction located on the road close to Tiger Park during our vacation in Pattaya. We were told by the security that this park has closed down. We found that a snake show was running in the same compound but we decided not to go for this show and proceeded to Pattaya floating market.Written 8 September 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
