If you have no idea where to go on a vacation, you should visit Koh Larn. This charming island is in Pattaya, Thailand. It takes only about two and a half hours from Bangkok. On the island, you will feel so calm and see how beautiful it is. The water is so clear that you will enjoy swimming with friends for hours. There are many beaches to which you can travel easily by riding the most convenient vehicle on the island, motorcycle. Along the beaches, you will see cute little dogs welcoming you. They are super cute! You might feel a bit tired after traveling around the island, but it is heartwarming to spend time with friends seeing sunset together. This might sound like “we can see sunset from anywhere on earth”, but it is even more special and memorable when you and your loved friends are in Koh Larn.

Jomtien beach is well served by attentive parasol/bed operators and numerous vendors hawking their wares. After a while it becomes tiresome when some grab your foot. Unfortunately the sea and beach are getting buried under litter and whatever the tide washes up. Our last visit included stepping in thick crude oil. It’s noisy and unpleasant and I can’t understand why they commercial operators can’t organise a proper beach clea.

The park is well kept with many stone sculptures. Couple of birds, giant cat fish etc. Some tigers are kept in small cages. The ones they keep for photographs clearly look drugged. You can feed elephants and Giraffes.
Crocodile show is scary. The setup is very old and the place as expected is stinky. We had visited the park for our daughter and she liked it, hence gave it 4 stars.

The elephant ride was a lot of fun and they even walk into the water (don't worry, you won't get wet). The place itself was not too great, but the there's a cool cafe where you can feed the elephants in the water. The show was terrible, just some ladyboys dancing around with a bird and a snake.

It’s not really a good beach!
I’m disappoint with this place, I was expecting more because everyone said the Thailand beach’s are so beautiful which is not true for this one. There are so many boats close to the beach which make the water a little dusty and even the beach is not clean. I had no chance to went to Puckett but I’m pretty much sure those beaches are with white sand and clear water.
Don’t waste your time on this beach.

I previously visited in 2019 and wanted to support the park in its work looking after the Tigers. There is a line between being a good place for the Tigers or a bad place but for me while some of the cages seem on the small side I’m sure they get rotated to have more space and they are fed and cared for.

I arrived around 10:30 on a Sunday, not too busy but by the time I left around an hour later the reception area was very busy so I suggest and early visit.

A much quieter beach than Pattaya or Jomtien. It can get busy on the weekends. Beach has roped off areas for swimming and to stop the racing seadoos from entering swimming zones.

The Dolphin & Seal Show is fun for kids and lasts for about 45 minutes. They also offer paid opportunities (500 THB) for clicking photos with the Dolphins & Seals after the show. The Swimming with Dolphin Experience (only for ages above 6 years) is also highly recommended. They have a shower area to clean up before & after the experience. The staff is highly supportive.

It is recommended to buy tickets for the show & Swimming with Dolphin Experience online on third party websites as it's cheaper & there are limited slots for the Swimming with Dolphin Experience. The best viewing seats are those in the middle Deluxe Area & the front few rows seats will get wet with the salty water.

Went there last week with our 4 and 6 year old . The place is inside a 7 level shopping mall which appears to of seen it’s time , most shops abandoned or closed . Got to the top level and was pleased to see this venue was awesome . Our kids loved it , there was so much for them to do . A great way to burn some energy for the kids , I recommend it 100 %

This beach is just OK, not great. It is great only if you like a lot of noise, mostly caused by jet skis that have a designated lane of travel between lines of buoys running parallel to the shore about 500 meters out. It’s advantage compared to the Pattaya beaches is that the water is cleaner. In Pattaya, the water looks pretty disgusting. So yes, this is an upgrade, but if they got rid of the jet skis, it would be a lot nicer.

We stayed locally and went twice during our stay. For 700b it’s a great days fishing. We only stayed for a few hours due to catching so many massive fish. The lake is full of Mekong catfish 20lb - 40lb average. They have a great helper on hand if needed.

I came to this shelter to visit the dogs and donate some supplies while here on vacation and it was AMAZING. This shelter houses many many dogs and does a lot with the little they have. All off their dogs eat 100-120kg of food a day, which is A LOT. If you are here in Thailand, please consider donating to this shelter. They need food and blankets desperately for all their babies. They are such nice kind hearted people to take in these animals - many were found hit by a car, injured severely or abandoned. They rescued all of them. The dogs are all friendly and sweet, they love getting attention from people! Please donate, visit and consider adopting one of these sweet souls.

I have been to Amazon fishing park many times, and always enjoy it. The dominant species are various catfish, which are the ones you will catch most of, and which all gives a very good fight. I've caught red tail catfish up to approx 22-25kg here and other cat fish in th 10-15 kg. range. Another species you are bound to catch, is alligator gar. I've seen these up to 6 kg, but the guides assures you, you can catch them up to 20kg. Pacu (5kg) and featherfish (3kg) are rare, but also present. Finally, they have arapaima up to 35-40kg - I've only caught a 7 kg. baby once. The existing thing at Amazon Fishing park is, that they stock predatory fish, unlike the catfish found in most other fishing parks in Thailand.
The visit includes a meal and two bottles of beer or water and more can be bought. Bait for fishing and rod rent is included, as is the guides. You can buy special bait for special species, such as chicken chunks for big alligator gars. Finally, transport from and to your hotel is also included.
The reason for 4 stars and not 5 stars are: The trip is expensive - 4500 bath (up from 2500 bath when they started). Also, some years ago, they introduces a fee for bringing a non-fishing friend (which was free of charge when they started). But still, when I look at the pictures we take when visiting Amazon Fishing park, I know from the fish and my big smile, that I will be back next time I visit Thailand.

I visited there with my friend but we think differently. I love there and she think there was nonsense. When I visit there a Russian couple managed there. The wife guided me through the garden. She couldn't speak english good but she's kind and knowledgeable.
Inside the building they arranged spice, herb and medicinal plants in different parts and you can find what you want in its partition easily.
