I greatly enjoyed the visit. The workmanship is unbelievable. The whole structure is build of wood with no nails. It is still expanding and changing. Highly recommended.

always nice to take a relaxing walk, be it at night, be it in the morning (midday sun will kill you). about 5 years ago and again 4 years ago they upgraded the beach bloulevard (sea side). They removed the hangaround spots, like chairs which itself is a pity, however the boulevard itself is more spacious, wider and they made the beach far more attractive by widening the beach (add sand mike it much more enjoyable). So it is fun to walk. Unfortunately the loud "barside"still is a complete desaster with traditional beerbars, load music and "hostesses". Still work to do there. Moreover there still too many "freelance hostesses" on beach side. And it is not safe for teen girls to walk alone. My 12yo daughter was approched by several "monguls" asking her how much. She got scrared and confused. Pattaya police should beat the crap out of these creaps (to my opinion). There are lots of police on the beach but they are inactive, hiding on the motorbike behind signs and stuff they are doing litterally nothing but waiting for there shift to end. No pro-active preventive clearly visible presence. To my opinion they should servey by food or on bike the beachroad, see and act rather than "hanging around" killing the shift. It works in downtown Amsterdam it should work in down town Pattaya.

I looked it up in review: this market has a lot of products and people come to visit. But when I went, things started to get small. Fewer shops open There were fewer people, probably because of the hot weather, but overall it was good.

A fun giant sign that spells out the name of the city, Pattaya. Just in case you ever need proof you visited the beach city. It's also visible day and night as it's lit up some time after the sun goes down.

Wat Chai Mongkon is beautiful but it is under restoration. The temple is well maintained. The buildings are nice. The stupa is nice outside but acceptable inside.

If you visit Pattaya, you should probably visit this spot. You will get a panoramic view over Pattaya. There is also a monument of Admiral Krom Luang and people use firecrackers to pay respect to him.

There are loads of bars to drink at in tree town and many places to eat all different types of Thai foods etc.

One thing I do not get it why all the live (Rock) bands play music at the same time as is just becomes noise and not music

Also people talking cannot hear themselves speak if the live (Rock) bands are playing all at the same time.

I think the should play 3 set each and give each other a chance for people to enjoy there music rather than just listen to noise which hurts your ears .

Boyztown used to be the gay centre of Pattaya and was alive with pubs and bars and other entertainment places. There used to be selection of hotels here. It still exists but the businesses became greedy and thet prices went too high. Now a lot of places have closed. It has sanitised in some ways, and it is still a good place to people watch however it has totally lost its charm

This monument is in honour of the Prince of Chumphon, considered to be the father of the modern Thai navy. The statue depicts the prince in his naval uniform, while the area has been designed to look like the bow of a ship. Amazing views of Pattaya Beach from here too.

This is a small Chinese temple dedicated to an ancient Chinese saint which is located at a walking distance from the Big Buddha in Pattaya. We had visited this beautiful well maintained temple during our vacation in Pattaya when we had visited the Big Buddha. Only a handful tourists can be found here.

I did add this place in my checklist before visiting Thailand, and after I checked-in at the hotel in Pattaya, I visited this place at night. The plane is definitely unmissable and the whole area was light up! A great place for foodies like me 😁

Great job! The producers should be proud.

This 90 minutes impressive grand show performs at SINGHA D’LUCK Cinematic Theatre, the notable glittering building that looks levitate in air!

Theme of the show is about the adventure of a young man (Mr.Kaan) who fell into the fantasy world of Thai literature through the book and his quest to collect all parts of the broken key which brought him back home.

Every scenes are magnificent. All dedicated performers are amazing. For ones who used to read Thai literature, that's really hits home! (For ones who don't, this show is still awesome).

Taking photo is not allowed during the show, but ones can take some photos with performers and scenes after the show (extra 100 bath/person with unlimited photos). Furthermore, there are many cutie souvenirs sold in the shop.

Luckily, there was a promotion "buy 1 get 1 free" at the time when we attended (best value, should follow their facebook to find some promotion).

A big thumbs up to this 5 stars world-class show ! Truly recommend.

This clock tower is located near the Bali Hai pier to commemorate an international Lions meeting held in Pattaya in 2006. The tower is about 15m high, has four clock faces on four sides, but as far as I could tell didn't give the local time.
