What travellers are saying
- Audun F3 contributionsThis last year has felt as if my golf game completely stagnated. Wanting to get out the slump and get significantly better I booked 3 weeks of instruction (5 days a week) with Spike. Brave, considering I only had testimonials from TripIt and the academy website to aid my selection. :)
I have learnt more about the golf swing than I ever knew before. Spike coached me to a deeper understanding of the mechanics, efficient mental tools for understanding cause and effect in the swing, and how to keep improving.
Looking at video analysis the changes are striking and extremely positive. The path of my swing used to be very "outside-to-in". This has been replaced by a repeatable on-plane swing, much closer to what you see as "good" swings on YouTube or instruction videos. I also now have the tools to make it even better - although it takes more than just 3 weeks to grind away 5 years of practice and conditioning.
Highly recommended.Written 29 September 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We had a great couple of days and met some really nice people. 8 teams battled it out over 2 days with Lamphun surprisingly winning the major tournament.
Whilst the cricket was going on there was non stop golf being played. Also, there were lots of people taking part in ‘disc’ throwing - competitive frisbee throwing? A very busy place on the eve of Loi Krathong.Written 28 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. “Discrimination” to foreigners as have to pay +B300 (£7) surcharge than a local or resident.
Round is £30 & residents £23, includes buggy & caddy.
Caddies are ok, ensure if you don’t speak Thai you ask & test some basic English like water right or left.
Driving range is well set up and inexpensive.
Plenty golf shops, restaurants & cafe.
Golf equipment in Thailand has added taxes and is expensive so come prepared.
Good practise zone. Not a course for business or competition.Written 23 November 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Most positive about this place is the distance to the town centre. You don't need to hire a car or taxi to go there take the red bus for 20 Bath and in 10 minutes you are there.
Facilities are the average but ok. and inexpensive. On weekends very crowded with locals.

I saw that one user gave it a bad review. But perhaps weather conditions were not so good, or the user lost many balls. Because water is indeed more than just decoration. The course, flat, requires precise play and the greens are well shaped and can also be challenging at times.
Furthermore, the club boasts the largest driving range in northern Thailand, with several pro-shops, bars and restaurants.

A big thank you to the Tripseed local guides there: Pam in Bangkok, Mr Yoshi in Chiang Mai and Chanin in Kao Sok. They were punctual, fun, knowledgeable and very helpful. A special mention of Mr Yo who made sure we got on the plane to our next destination. Thank you. We tasted local fruits and food together, visited markets, temples and hiked in the NP & visited the indigenous people. We learnt a lot about Buddhism, Thailands history, culture and customs and we shared a lot of giggles!! The guides input and insights were very valuable and interesting & made the trip extra special for us! Would definitely recommend. Thank you.Written 13 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Jonathan BDarmstadt, Germany21 contributionsI planned my first trip to Chiang Mai and wanted a unique experience and the possibility to do some photography with a local guide. Seeing the advert from Lanna to visit Doi Suthep, Wat Umong, Bai Orchid-Butterfly Farm and Bua Tong "Sticky" Waterfall I thought this is perfect as it will give me a taste of the area.
Lanna was very friendly from the start and she was fun to be with for the day. She was very patient when I wanted to stop and take some photos and was flexible with the timing of leaving one place and going to the next. She had so much knowledge about the places we visited and she willing answered any questions. She made the whole day interesting and did not just repeat facts but provided explanations that kept your attention.
One point we discussed was future trips and the possibility of going somewhere off the beaten track to avoid the crowds including waterfalls and overnight stays in Doi Inthanon.
Lanna made the whole day a lot of fun and it was a pleasure to have her as my guide and I cannot recommend her enough.
I am looking forward to my return trips to Chiang Mai and adventure to Doi Inthanon.Written 27 October 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - jjcarver2015Singapore, Singapore22 contributionsOur driver was great. Showed up early each day, was near van if we needed to get something during excursions, and was flexible for side stops.
Excellent driving and safety concern for everyone. And, he even found a lost wallet and returned it after we’d given up finding it!
Would highly recommend this company and service based on price, flexibility, safety and courtesy.Written 28 December 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We spent an entire day with him from 7:30am to around 6:30pm. We knew we wanted to go to Doi Inthanon and surrounding area. He not only showed up on time but drove us around and provided great suggestions on food and additional activities. His knowledge of the area and his ability to speak English and Thai was invaluable as he worked as our translator for a few cases. To contact him you can call him or use WhatsApp with his phone number: +66 83 581 9379 or email address listed on trip advisor. I would suggest him to our friends and family.
He also does last minute bookings.
P.s. I included images of a binder he had in the car, they include some great suggestions on things to do as well as some hand written reviews. There were roughly 11 more hand written notes trip advisor wouldn't let me post due to image limitations. The binder had roughly 12-15 various options of things to do similar to the example I posted.Written 24 November 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
