We had a great experience at Siam Garden Cooking school. The class was well organized and perfectly balanced for all skill levels. There were 16 people in our class and the staff was attentive to everyone. As a family of 4 we could try nearly all the meals they had to offer, and each were delicious. AI, Fon, Cream and the rest of the staff were extremely personable and funny as well. Not only did they teach us how to make the food but they also taught us about the produce in the market and their garden. I would 100% recommend

Fun, well organized, and informative. Bonus to learn some Akha recipes and to visit the market and meet the produce. Niti is a great host, really professional and entertaining.

We enjoyed the cooking class which enabled us to make 6 authentic Thai recipes. The market tour was informative and educational. The staff was amazing and the facilities were perfect for the group. The food was delicious and we were provided with recipes at the end of class. This was a great value at under $25 per person with transportation included.

This was my fave trip so far!
Collection from our hotel and straight to a local market and then onto the cookery school which was so much fun! We made Thai soup, Pad Thai and Red Curry and got to eat everything - it was delicious, even if I do say so myself 😋
The staff were great, so friendly and kind (and patient!) And even took us back to our hotel afterwards too!
    Highly recommend!

I attended the afternoon (dinner) class. I am a vegetarian and was assured it would be no problem. It was great. I never knew that there was a mushroom sauce which could be used instead of fish sauce! The class started with a tour of their herb garden and then the local vegetable market to learn about the ingredients. Explanations and demonstrations were done. Next it was our turn to prepare our dishes. There were three courses and more than enough food. I also enjoyed that there were young people from several different countries at my table.

Highly recommend Yummy Tasty, especially with kids! Sky was an incredibly fun, patient and knowledgeable chef. We had an issue where my 5-year-old son had a bad reaction to chili pepper oil and the whole team could not have been more helpful in trying to resolve, while also letting us come back to re-do the class the next day. That re-do was such a magical day and my son is still floating on cloud nine!

This was an excellent experience! We especially loved that we could preorder our pesonalised preferred dishes to learn to make, and then made them 'as you like it' - as spicy or mild as we enjoy eating! 😋 We participated as 4 adults in a group of about 10 people and the class was extremely well organised. There is a great combination of cultural learning, ingredient education and technique development throughout this class. Aoy is a skilled educator, injecting lots of humor along the way! It was like participating in a well choreographed dance, as Aoy directed each of our groups along the process of progressing our meals, despite the many variations being simultaneously prepared. Poetry in motion! 😁 Aoy is ably assisted by a fabulous team of 'fairy godmothers' who unobtrusively clean and tidy everything while you are cooking and instantly procure anything you need! ✨️We left this class with a 'warm inner glow' - full tummies and a wonderful sense of having achieved great things! We eagerly look forward to preparing our dishes for friends and family back home. This was a highlight of our three week trip in Thailand and we couldn't recommend it highly enough!

Thanks to Nat, Berd, and Grandma Noi. Our favorite experience in Chiang Mai, and a must try if you want to learn about coffee. The homemade lunch was excellent as well, the serenity of the farm and the overall hospitality made this a wonderful tour. Not many tourist know about this, so spread the word!

My husband and I did the group cooking class and had so much fun! Benny was hilarious and a great teacher! She and her kitchen fairy were so welcoming and made us feel very comfortable. The class started with a tour of a local market where Benny explained a lot of the ingredients we would be using as well as other local foods and we even got to try samples of several! We then went to the location for the class where we enjoyed a welcome drink and learned to cook a salad, soup, stir fried noodle, curry and dessert! The portion sizes were great so I left feeling full but still to where I could try all the foods I made. The class was very hands on and we each had our own stations and I felt like I learned a lot and ended up with delicious food! I would recommend this tour to anyone looking for a good time and to learn how to cook some Thai food!
