In particular, the Calypso Cabaret provides a great experience — good seating arrangement with good views, great dancers and lady boy performers, plus a free drink (cola, beer, or water). It was a trip around the world with fabulous costumes and interpretations of native dance from many cultures - Thai, Indian, Japanese, latin, pop and movies. The venue is intimate. The service was impeccable. The cast is available after the show for fotos. - Annette FSan Juan, Philippines165 contributionsOur Thai guide made reservations for us for a show on the same day. Paid 1200 Baht onsite per ticket by credit card. (Rate is 1150 Baht if cash but we did not have cash). While waiting for the show I browsed Klook and found that using our own currency it only cost less than 900 Baht that day (but only if you booked earlier; no same day booking on Klook. Today I checked and the price is different— 600B —so maybe the rate changes. I am not a fan of ladyboys but watched due to my son’s insistence but hey, the show was great and highly entertaining. The "Grab" driver dropped us off right at the venue where staff quickly checked us in, provided us with a welcome glass of "Champagne" and walked us to our seats. The show is none stop from start to finish, the costumes were numerous and wonderful and the digital screens and graphics were top notch and all around. The cabaret included a diverse set of songs and performances, from different cultures, which was wonderful. The seating arrangement was strange in that they put rows of seats behind another row with tables on the same level platform, which made it difficult to see over their heads. - Anja B2 contributionsThe dance acts were of poor quality, the performance did not resemble the pictures on Tripadvisor. We were offered a drink upon arrival. The performance took place in a large arena with a nice light show. The dancers did not use the stage but performed on ground level. The movements of the dancers that were supposed to be 'behind the scenes' were all visible to the audience which was very unprofessional. The venue was nearly empty with only about 30 spectators.
