- Lee Z8 contributionsThis was an excellent day trip out. Picked up from our hotel. Quite a drive out of Bangkok, but well worth it.
Tour guide Tim was excellent, great communication and fun.
The floating market was an experience where you could buy direct from the boat anything from food, drink, souvenirs. You could also have picture with a snake!!
Railway market was fun. Seen the pictures on the internet before, but to see all the shops move their stock as the train approaches and then to be stood inches away as the train passes was a great experience.

Our guide was Amp and she couldn’t have been any more helpful. There was 15 in our couple and 2 to a Tuk Tuk. We are in 3 restaurants, had 2 lots of street food, a cocktail and a flower folding demo in the flower market. The food was wonderful to taste (don’t expect formal, it isn’t) but it was more than enough food for 2 hungry people. There was water with each stop however some of us ordered and paid for beer separately. It’s pure luck if you get on inside or on the deck.
We were on the deck and it’s a great way to see Bangkok at night.
The staff are very good and attentive.

She took us to a great variety of places which we wouldn’t have found by ourselves. - John B4 contributionsThis was a great introduction for our first night in Bangkok. We were taken around by tuk tuk to sample some amazing traditional street food. It would have taken a week to find and try each of these venues on our own so it was great to get to see them all in one night. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly explaining all about the food and making sure we tried everything available. I’m very impressed with the view along Cho Praya river and absolutely great hospitality of staffs Vegas Vicky Pocky Unif especially K. Pitchy. They made us had a wonderful experience and feel like at home. The food was very nice also variety of menu and the taste was so perfect. Our guide Ton was knowledgeable and made sure we stayed cool and had fun. - Wendy R281 contributionsThis was the best experience we had sooo much fun and lots of laughs topped of with beautiful fresh food. Our family all enjoy Thai food and can cook (we are a group of five with 3x teenage sons) so thought we would give it a go after reading the reviews. Honestly it was the best decision and such an amazing experience. She had all the ingredients displayed beautifully then explained them individually to why they used them and how, we helped prepare and cook our individual meals which we then ate, while they worked tirelessly to clean up after us and set up for our next meal. We made tom yum, pad thai, green thai curry and sticky mango rice all family favorites. We were sooo full, she puts everyone at ease and has and awesome sense of humor coupled with fabulous english. Food is not so fantastic but ok. I prefer rooftop seating. They have live band too. Its a new experiences for them. - warren126Horwich, UK131 contributionsLet’s be brutally honest- we had seen some of the poorer reviews but weighing up versus the good ones we booked it to take a chance rather than opting for the booming music boat trips that sail up and down the river. So, tonight we have had the most wonderful trip celebrating my good lady’s 60th birthday and there is nothing but praise to be given. Although there was slight miscommunication before we set off in relation to our meals, there was nothing to fund fault. The free boat transfer is great because getting to the starting point by road would be a nightmare. On the boat, once the staff realised we weren’t seafood lovers, they provided an excellent alternative - 6 courses overall as well as birthday girl surprise with a cake. Food was top drawer, staff were all superb, the atmosphere is spot on whilst meeting the chef at the end made it all the more worthwhile. Yes, the drinks cost more buts that’s why you are on a luxury fine dining cruise and not a back street pub in downtown Bangkok!
