But then if you need a specific shoes, home stuff etc I think this is the place you go. 1) because it’s zoned per floor so it’s easy to find what you are looking for and 2) there is something for everybody - clothes, beauty, sports, food (not the most luxurious but everyday shopping). Also, it’s a short walk to Siam Paragon so if you’re going shopping and limited with time then this makes a good starting point. Wouldn’t hang out here cos it’s not a quiet place, it’s frenetic.Written 3 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - LEMB1971Miami, FL149 contributionsNice environment and night show. Excellent river side pictures. Best place for exchange currency with passport (SuperRich), eat mangosteen ( Lele ), try a mango sticky rice ( YenlyYours), do shopping . Also, there a lot of michelin restaurants, coffe stores, live music ... amazing.Written 2 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - MrtahMuscat, Oman226 contributionsPlatinum Fashion Mall in Bangkok is the go-to spot for fashion lovers, especially those on a budget. Located in the lively Pratunam district, this massive indoor mall is packed with hundreds of stalls offering a wide range of trendy clothing, accessories, shoes, and bags at affordable prices.
The mall is known for its great deals, especially if you buy in bulk, and haggling is common, though prices are generally already low. The quality varies, so you can find everything from high-street fashion to more budget-friendly items.
Shopping here can easily take up your whole day, but don’t worry—there’s a food court on the top floor with a variety of tasty and affordable options, plus plenty of cafes for a quick break.
Located near other popular shopping spots and easily accessible by public transport, Platinum Fashion Mall is a must-visit if you’re looking to score some fashionable finds without spending a fortune. Just be prepared for crowds, especially on weekends!
It is a must visit if you are looking for affordable clothes with good quality.Written 29 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. In our view, this mall has interesting stores and we have always enjoyed coming here. The sports stores, clothing stores, etc, are interesting and less crowded. This place is a gem.Written 2 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- TheShisTel Aviv, Israel43,246 contributionsThis is a rather smallish shopping center in Bangkok, and what makes it good is the lack of all the "bling", despite the fact it features some high-end shops.Written 6 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - J&S_SingaporeSingapore, Singapore5,597 contributionsBig C is really a must visit for both locals & tourists alike, right smacked at the middle of Ratchadamri road and just opposite CenrawOrld it cannot be missed.
The Shopping is actually situated on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the building. On the ground floor, one will find a range of fashion shops, discount jewelers, some F&B stalls and even a bank/money exchanger.
A shopping destination known for its extremely wide range of products Big C Supercenter Ratchadamri offers an unparalleled shopping experience. It stands out for its array of products ranging from groceries and household items to even electronics and clothing, both of local and international products at competitive prices.
The 1st level is for snacks, foods, cosmetics and skincare. 2nd floor is for utilities, clothes, shoes , electronics devices and household goods. But the crowd is always too thick on 1st floor!
For food lovers there are numerous dining options available at Big C, a food court offers a variety of Thai and international cuisines. Several cafes and fast-food outlets provide quick bites and refreshments for those on the go.
There are frequent promotions and discounts available which added to the buzz and the Opening Hour is from 9:00 AM till late 11:00 PM definitely gives everyone ample time for shopping, dining, and exploring the supercenter at your own pace. We were here 3 times over 5 nights!Written 5 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. This giant market serves as a very modernized night market with all the features of the actual night markets (good food), minus all the negatives aspects of the markets. And it's all air-conditioned.Written 6 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. NOTE as with many places you pay for tokens before choosing your stall and meal but there is NO REFUND, so only purchase tokens you will spend on the day or they will be wasted. Apart from this the Mega Food Center is excellent with good value food and friendly staff.Written 12 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Eileen L13 contributionsThis is the mall for you if you like the slightly quirky, unusual, young Thai fashion & accessories design. Be prepared to fork out $$, this isn’t Chatuchak! Also a food haven with 2 whole floors dedicated to all sorts of international cuisine from local Thai street food to fancier joints. Love that I always find local art exhibitions & interesting pop ups. For the young at heart.Written 17 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Kyle W1 contributionCompared to malls in the US this was a great mall. Compared to other big city Asian Malls it was ok. Definitely worth going to. Has pretty much everything you could imagine and good food options. It gets credit for not having the tourist draws like the other bigger malls in Bangkok making it not so crazy.Written 27 February 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - 253SASingapore, Singapore3,423 contributionsThe Union Mall is conveniently located just next to the Ha Yaek Lat Phrao station, and its a one stop place for all things fashion, similar to what Platinum Mall or MBK can offer. It's six floors offers fashion of mindblowing variety, so much so, you have a really hard time making a final decision. What's more, the mall has several event spaces showcasing the wares of young and upcoming Thai fashion designers, so you know the stuff you are being are leading cutting edge merchandise.Written 28 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Valerie WAiken, SC69 contributionsThis is a very large mall with lots of stores and restaurant options.
I didn't spend a lot of time here but we went here on a Friday night as a group after work for a little bit of shopping and dinner.
Perhaps because it was a Friday, most of the restaurants were fully booked and so we had limited options to be seated at a decent time.
It was a little confusing to me that there are multiple malls with the name Central in it. This one was located near my work office whereas the other mall called CentralWorld was more conveniently located to the other malls and hotels.
This is a great option if you are staying near this part of town.Written 1 October 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
