What travellers are saying
- Great fun 1000's of stalls much to see, a lot of clothes and not as many interesting stalls as there were when I went in 2016, but a great day out, easy to get lost. Sky train get you thereWritten 17 March 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Alfred VAmsterdam, The NetherlandsThis must be the poshest mall in BKK. Only the likes of Gucci and Prada at western prices, so not a real local shopping experience. It is pretty though, and close to other malls.Written 9 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- AmipswiLondon, UKAmazing for all sorts of goods. Be aware though, that I arrived at 11:30 am and more than half the vendors were soon closing for a two hour lunch. I was even in the middle of a purchase and the vendor said to choose if I wanted the bag as they were closing for two hours. I was not going to be rushed so walked away but then the choice was much more limited. Haggling is imperative! 😄Written 12 March 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Terry FLeamington Spa, UKA very vibrant and busy city. The river ferries were really useful as was the SkyTrain.Excellent street food.Very different to a quiet English village.Written 14 March 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Tara ASydney, AustraliaPier 21 food hall is a great place to visit & sample different types of dishes & a very reasonable price. There are 6 floors of shops and restaurant in this mall, as well as a cinema & a gym. There are banks & money exchanges on site as well as close-by. Conveniently located next to both MRT & BTS stations Terminal 21 is a place to visit if you like shopping malls.Written 16 March 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - BrakiWorldTravelerBelgrade, SerbiaCentralworld is one of the biggest shopping malls on the planet. It occupies an entire block spreading on several floors and naturally you can find everything there.
While that part for me is average and I always rate malls 3 stars, now I add one star due to New Year's celebrations in front of it with spectacular fireworks.Written 16 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Distance to BTS stn not to near but yet walkable around 15 to 20 mins casual walking.Written 27 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It covers a pretty huge area, in all the side streets from the main one, as well in the indoor hall.
Like in most of them there're plenty food options, loads of goods - souvenirs, clothes, fake items,...you name it.Written 16 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - We had a lovely time with our host Sunny. He was very informative and funny. He made sure we were always comfortable, offering water to keep us cool. There isn’t a breeze that blows through the market, so wear something cool. Visiting the markets is something you have to do once.Written 7 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - BrakiWorldTravelerBelgrade, SerbiaThere are several flower markets in Bangkok, but this one is the oldest and the biggest. It is conveniently located in the very center, close to the river taxi station, so it's easy to reach.
It has several entrances and wherever you enter you'll get lost in a maze of flower stalls. There're hundreds of stalls selling all kind of flowers from beautiful orchids, over the amazingly rich orange offerings flowers to funeral big arrangements. You'll be mesmerized by the abundance of smell and colours.
Apart from the flowers you can also find some vegetables - I bought 2 kilos of Thai chilis which I took home and are fresh even now, after a month.Written 16 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. There are many brands and very helpful and interactive staff members. There are even small games alongside the shops for children to play. If you come and visit Bangkok do visit The Siam centre if you have time !Written 27 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ferdiantono LimJakarta, IndonesiaEmporium Bangkok is one of the three EM malls in Sukhumvit, positioned a notch above EmQuartier in terms of brand selection, though it feels noticeably older. The massive, overly bright orb at the entrance comes off as tacky rather than impressive.
The lower floors are dedicated to luxury skincare and makeup, while the upper levels house high-end fashion—ranging from pieces you can’t afford to those you technically could but might not want to.
There are some decent dining options upstairs, and we ended up having a late lunch here. Surprisingly, it felt more relaxing compared to EmQuartier, making it a better spot for a quieter meal.Written 21 March 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ben FBloomington, INSookSiam, part of the larger IconSiam shopping mall complex, offers an overwhelmingly vast array of dining and boutiques representing cultures Thai, Asian, and even global. It’s a perfect place to go if it’s raining or you’d like to escape the heat and traffic of Bangkok. Prices may be higher here than in a more natural market, considering it’s near a luxury mall, but it’s so convenient that cost didn’t matter to me.Written 20 March 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
