Amber palace also called Amir Palace is a not to miss place. Fortified by a long fort wall covering Jaigarh fort, this is the third largest fort wall in the world. The intricate works on the walls, the amazing architectural marvel to see.

This was honestly the best thing we did in Delhi. I absolutely loved our visit here. We came at night to see the light, sound and water show. Inside the temple it had a great depiction of the story of Bhagwan Swaminarayan. It was excellent. If I come back to Delhi I'll go again. The show was excellent and worth staying for. I do recommend going early to get tickets to the show.

One of the must do visits whilst in Amritsar, I’m not a very religious person however I still felt moved by the size and beauty of this place, it was fantastic from the entry, walking around the outside before queuing for the access to the actual golden temple, which actually went pretty fast, I went on a week day so maybe that’s better. I was made to feel welcome as being a westerner in an Indian temple. I visited the Langar after and again was made welcome, the food was great, I couldn’t believe how they fed so many people on such a large scale and for free, I was really humbled by this and left a donation on my way out, I also asked if I could have a look at the kitchen which I was granted, that was an experience to remember. I would highly recommend visiting the golden temple whilst in Amritsar.

A really nice piece of architecture to gaze at no matter the time of day. The only drawback was the amount of people and all the people trying to sell you something.

Delhi is a city of contrasts, where the old and the new coexist in harmony. The city is home to many historical monuments and cultural landmarks, that reflect the rich and diverse heritage of India. Among these, there is one place that stands out for its spiritual significance and architectural beauty: the Bangla Sahib Gurudwara.Gurudwara Bangla Sahib is the most prominent Sikh house of worship in Delhi. It was first built as a small shrine in 1783 to honour the eighth Sikh Guru, Guru Har Krishan. The gurdwara stands on the site where Guru Hari Krishan, the eighth of 10 Sikh gurus who lived between 1469 and 1708, performed a small miracle.

Another very interesting place to visit in Agra besides the Taj Mahal. There are several different fortifications gates to get inside. It does offer a great view of the Taj Mahal from one of the back openings and makes for a cool photo op. The fort itself is large with several courtyards some with gardens, and many interesting rooms.
