What travellers are saying
- Collinson wongBirmingham, UK5 contributionsIt would be nice and it is an ideal that Bhutan can connect with more than two neighbours. Rent or lease the part of the land from india in order to be able to connect the chinese bullet train system at Nepal from the west side. By south side allow Bhutan connect with Bangladesh to have a river joined harbour for import and exporting. What Bhutan have in hand for bargain are the fresh water supplying line to India...... be wise as I mentioned from long time. Good luck.Written 10 February 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Joy-travelerBrevard, NC218 contributionsWe just returned from a trip using Bhutan Travel Guru. They were excellent in handling all the arrangement, including last minute changes to our itinerary.
They prepared us so well for the hike to the Tiger's Nest, doing three appropriate preparatory hikes each day before our final big hike. Some friends were in Bhutan the previous week and did not have the advantage of the preparatory hikes and had a more difficult time with the Tiger's Nest.
Tsheten handled our flight reservations and reserved window seats for each of us on the flight to and from Paro so we were able to get great views of Mt. Everest and the Himalayas during the flights.
Our guide was well-informed, personal, and his English was very good. Our driver was super careful on the very winding roads. They were always punctual, at least 15-30 minutes early to meet us each time.
We enjoyed the hotels and restaurants they selected for us during our visit.
We highly recommend Bhutan Travel Guru for your trip to Bhutan.Written 8 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I don't really like tours, and this was only my second group tour, but I will say it was excellent. From the pre-trip communication to being super flexible during the trip, everything went so smoothly. Our guide Vijay was great. I was surprised how much we were able to do in a short time. This was a perfect introduction to Bhutan, seeing the major sites like Tiger's Nest, Thimphu, Punakha dzong, and the phallus temple. My special request to stop at a post office was honored not once but twice! We kept a quick pace, but also had enough time to explore a little and get to know each other. Our driver was excellent, navigating the winding roads and tight turns expertly, and also accompanying members of the group as we hiked up to Tiger's Nest. If you are looking for a customized trip to the highlights of Bhutan, you must go with Vijay and Keys To Bhutan.Written 1 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ruben C2 contributionsVisiting Bhutan was truly an unforgettable experience. From its breathtaking natural landscapes to the warm hospitality and delicious food, every moment was a delight. Choosing MyBhutan as our travel partner for this adventure was a decision we’d make again in a heartbeat. From the first conversation to the last glimpse of the Himalayas through the airplane window, the entire journey felt effortless, safe, and thoroughly enjoyable.
Our guide, Kuenga, and our driver, Phurba, played a huge role in making this trip so special. With their deep knowledge of Buddhism and daily life in Bhutan, they gave us a truly enriching experience. Their kindness and generosity made us feel very welcomed. We can’t thank them enough for everything.

- Edward D34 contributionsMy wife and I, along with eight friends, just returned from an unforgettable adventure in Bhutan. The entire trip was extraordinary, but what truly made it unique and special was our incredible guide and leader, Dorji of @drukyulholidays.
Over 12 days, we journeyed across Bhutan, including a 4-day stay at @thehappinessfarm2023, an extraordinary retreat nestled in the mountains between Paro and Thimphu. The farm-to-table cuisine was absolutely incredible—every single meal was a culinary masterpiece.
Dorji’s connections seemed endless; it felt as though he knew everyone in @Bhutan. Thanks to him, we were introduced to a fascinating array of people, events, and places that enriched our experience beyond words.
I have traveled extensively over the years, but this was, without a doubt, the best adventure I’ve ever had. Thank you, Dorji, for giving us the trip of a lifetime. We’ll definitely be back!Written 8 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Sacred Himalaya Travel exquisitely complemented this back drop with a flawlessly organised and executed 12 days between Paro, Bumthang and the highlights in between. Our guides and drivers were so kind, so aligned to the type of holiday our small group wanted and continuously delivered with great style. The transport, our accommodation and food were beyond expectations, whilst the places we visited have already formed memories of a life time. Whilst plans to return are already laid for the near future. To travel within Bhutan is an unforgettable unique experience whilst with Sacred Himalaya Travel made all the more sublime.
