- RTW-every-yearMunich, Germany143 contributionsOn our way from Paro to the Gangtey Valley we passed the capital city Thimphu and just learnt that there was the only Golf course in Bhutan. Spontaneously, we decided to visit the Royal Thimphu Golf Course and were happy to get a tee time as well as to be able to rent clubs, buy balls and gloves and having two helpful caddies allocated to us.
Nine tricky holes at a height of 2400 meters above sea level were waiting for us. The majestic King’s Royal Palace Dzong which also houses the supreme Buddhist monk dominates the view from the course -and requires an accurate drive...

From its breathtaking natural landscapes to the warm hospitality and delicious food, every moment was a delight. Choosing MyBhutan as our travel partner for this adventure was a decision we’d make again in a heartbeat. From the first conversation to the last glimpse of the Himalayas through the airplane window, the entire journey felt effortless, safe, and thoroughly enjoyable.
Our guide, Kuenga, and our driver, Phurba, played a huge role in making this trip so special. With their deep knowledge of Buddhism and daily life in Bhutan, they gave us a truly enriching experience. Their kindness and generosity made us feel very welcomed. We can’t thank them enough for everything.

I was the victim of a financial scam caused from emails coming from Namgye's account.
