Choosing MyBhutan as our travel partner for this adventure was a decision we’d make again in a heartbeat. From the first conversation to the last glimpse of the Himalayas through the airplane window, the entire journey felt effortless, safe, and thoroughly enjoyable.
Our guide, Kuenga, and our driver, Phurba, played a huge role in making this trip so special. With their deep knowledge of Buddhism and daily life in Bhutan, they gave us a truly enriching experience. Their kindness and generosity made us feel very welcomed. We can’t thank them enough for everything.

I’m home now nearly 2 weeks and I’m still trying to take in all the wonderful experiences that I had on what has to be hands down THE best holiday of my life.
I was ‘found’ aptly on Instagram and we started talking and after 2 months, I was sold that they were the company for me. My trip was to be less about hiking & more about experiencing the culture and immersing myself in it.
I travelled on my own, but I was 100% not on my own, it felt like I was travelling with two wonderful friends after about day 2. Noko & Pee2 were THE best guide and driver in the ENTIRE of Bhutan. Creating a whole host of memories that were not on the itinerary as such - celebrating a a Buddhist relic, having Honey (my dog) blessed by a monk in Bumthang, a ‘tractor’ journey, a session with a healer, massage, getting my on security team, winning at a dart style game, an awesome day of chilling BBQ & cold baths and so much more beyond. I miss them dearly they were SUCH a huge part of my travels.
The country is as magical as you have already seen, the people are warm, hospitable & friendly. Being so cut off from the world the country is focused on preserving its heritage and the values of its people and I can 100% see why.
The entire team at FoundBhutan went out of their way to ensure that my trip was all I’d hoped and everything more & they definitely overachieved this.
I can not recommend the team more highly. Our guide was Dorjee and our driver was Numgey. They looked after us so well. They went above and beyond what we expected. Dorjee planned and ensured our tours were well organised and interesting, Numgey ensured we arrived safely and then ensured I didn’t fall too far behind everyone else at the back of the hiking queue 🙈. They were the most pleasant and decent people you could meet. Their attention to detail and care was exceptional. They treated us like family. Great guys and a great holiday. Never seen such a down to earth person..I had a wonderful time thanks to him. - dden2014Hoi An, Vietnam23 contributionsAdventure Planets organized one of the most spectacular trips of our lives. We were there for one week but wish it had been longer. We hiked through terraced fields to beautiful temples, listened to the wonderful legends of Bhutanese history, saw giant rhododendrons blooming in the mountains, attended a wild, colorful festival, entered holy caves and bathed in a traditional hot stone bath in a farmhouse. Adventure Planets came highly recommended by another friend and we couldn't have been more pleased. Ugyen took care of all the details of trip planning, responding immediately to all requests and making adjustments to our itinerary according to our priorities. Nidup and Namgay were incredibly knowledgeable and generous guides and drivers. We feel incredibly grateful for this experience and hope to plan another trip in the future. We loved every aspect of our stay from the hotels, to the tours, food, treks, etc. Our guide Karma and driver Sonam were excellent and took very good care of us. - Gayatri N12 contributionsThis vacation (August 2024), we visited Bhutan - a beautiful country so well rooted in their tradition and culture. Our trip was organised by AD Tours and Travels; and we must say that it was an extremely satisfying and unforgettable experience. The staff are very prompt and responsive to all our queries and took really good care to make our tour a memorable one. The accommodation was all in 3-star hotels with the company especially ensuring that we received the best rooms that the hotel has to offer. Special mention to our guide Kinley - a very polite, punctual, professional and friendly person - who was there throughout with us and patiently explained to us everything about the beautiful places and holy sites that we visited. Our driver Tshering was also wonderful - always ensuring we reached our destinations on time. Both these new friends of ours ensured that we had a very memorable experience of Bhutan.. We visited in the off-season being the monsoon period but the rains did not trouble us at all and we had a very cool and pleasant weather all throughout.
