- Jurgen BBrussels, Belgium2,906 contributionsWe loved the touristy but spectacular dances, done by some sexy people, a lot. The guided tour in the village was tongue in cheeck, I think, and the waterfall very nice.Written 10 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SleeplessinSDSan Diego, CA376 contributionsHow can you not love staying in a place where nyalas bed down on the lawn in front of your cabin? Or where you see white rhino at the water hole on the way to the restaurant? (An electrified fence keeps the animals from butting in on the buffet.) The only light in our cabin came from two kerosene lanterns and a candle, but an enormous mosquito net made me feel more secure. Overall, the operation seemed professional, warmed by the friendliness of the staff. We were delighted when we were able to book a sunrise safari at the very last minute the preceding afternoon. It turned out to be fantastic.Written 23 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Fortune_MadhukuHarare Province, Zimbabwe625 contributionsThis is a top tourist attraction in Eswatini, and a must visit for nature and culture lovers. The village tour with a local guide is great and the cultural dances are breathtaking. To add to this, there is the Mantenga falls and picnic site, just a short walking distance from the village. Away from the madding crowd, the cultural village gives you an appreciation of the Swazi culture, and you'll fall in love with it. Highly recommended!Written 15 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Jurgen BBrussels, Belgium2,906 contributionsThe (female) nyala in the camp are super sweet, the food there is just ok, the bike ride was very sweaty, I counted 14 mammal species, and 2 reptile species/.Written 10 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - GeneralShamuNew York City, NY1,275 contributionsYou must arrange for a guide in advance via the park's office as you run the risk fo getting lost along the way. We did the hike to the dual waterfalls from Logwaja view point. A low clearance, 2WD vehicle was sufficient to get there but the guide had to get out and assist in directed us around the last half kilometer or so, so be prepared.
There are plenty of herbivores in the park so, if you are lucky, you'll be able to see some elusive eland, the largest of antelopes.
Hike time in total was about 5 hours - start as early as possible as you descend and then ascend back.

Sad for the people who try to sell, and feel forced to lower prices very fast. Saw some nice objects.Written 10 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Jurgen BBrussels, Belgium2,906 contributionsThe road to get to the lodge above, or the resort (where you have to pay to get in) is gorgeous but beautiful: we drove a Landrover Defender and took care, and were supprised to see locals tackle the rocks with "normal" cars!Written 10 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Andrew Tucker2 contributionsOne of Africa's best secrets! Stayed at Imfihlo lodge. Loved absolutely everything. Birding is top notch with Green and Pink Throated Twinspots, Thick billed Cuckoo and 185 other spp on a winter list. Walking, cycling, drives, beautiful views. All staff were as always very friendly and helpful. Lodge just stunning.
Perfect spot for a quiet getaway.

It provides a sharp contrast to the nearby modern shopping complex that increasingly look the same all over Southern Africa. The more conventional market consists of several halls. Each section of the market has its specialism. I found the traditional medicine hall the most interesting. But of course the vegetable and fruit sections and handicrafts hall are wonderful as well.
There is a small restaurant area where you can get simple meals prepared with care. Prices are around 25 Rand per meal.
Prices at the market are generally much lower than in the modern shops
I would skip the garment stalls with second hand low quality goods.Written 13 February 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The visitor museum had burned down in 2018, but still contains a traction engine in the rubble. The views are wonderful, and I loved the flowering wattle and unique fir trees. We found our way to the ‘Lion’s Cave’ along a path and steel steps, from which are truly spectacular views.Written 30 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
