We had a great day out in the park with an experienced guide, that managed to find most of the animals in the park.

Our driver and guide, Jean Paul, was on time, and very knowledgeable. While in the park, he also worked with the park rangers and other guides, to find the animals we wanted to see. We got to see not only elefants, rhinos, buffalos, zebras and giraffes, but also a pride of lions. By all accounts a rare treat. 10/10

We actually took 2 tours with Countryside. The day tour of Kigali and the 2 day Akagera tour. Both were fantastic. Olivier and Jonathan took us around Kigali and to the Genocide Memorial. We learned so much about the city and the growth of Rwanda. The next day, we were on our way to Akagera. What a trip! JP was our guide and he was determined to show us all of the animals. The lodge is beautiful and the staff was amazing. Between the boat tour, the night game drive and the full day, we saw nearly every animal. I would recommend this company and trip to anyone wanting to visit Rwanda.

Patricia was the guide for our private group and she was so amazing. It was a really nice way to learn more about the coffee production process whilst supporting the female-driven initiative. Lastly, I really liked that we got to take a bag of our favourite coffee.

Wonderfully paced tour arranged by Olivier, that introduced locations of prominence in Kigali and its surroundings, including time at the Memorial. A wealth of information and insights were shared, and the refreshment stops were at places highly regarded in their own right. The hospitality and professionalism shown by Countryside made immediately booking an additional tour with this outfit an easy choice.

I had an amazing experience with this tour. My tour guide was Shadddy. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I enjoyed the information he shared about the different places and food products we encountered on our journey to the lake. Though it was a long 4+ hour drive with traffic here and there, I enjoyed the experience of getting to see more than Kigali. The experience on Lake Kivu was awesome. My favorite part was watching the tour guide hand pieces of a banana to a monkey. It was a great experience. Well worth it!

Countryside Tours provided a convenient and comfortable way to see all of Akagera National Park in just one day, starting and ending in Kigali. Customer service was superb. Our guide, Jean Paul (JP), was a real champion! He patiently encouraged photos everywhere, making whatever vehicle position adjustments necessary to get the best shots. We have amazing photos of all the big animals. Thank you Countryside and JP!

From start to finish, this tour was seamless and very well done. I had an amazing time walking above the rainforest and looking down at all of the interesting wildlife and nature. I'd highly recommend booking your tours with Usalama Tours, they offer friendly guides and great experiences.

We met our wonderful guide Patti at Question Coffee Cafe in Kigali where we were greeted with freshly brewed coffee and croissants. From there, we drove with our own car (although transport can be also organized by QC) to Kayonza city where we stopped to order lunch at the Women's Opportunity Centre. Then, we drove to the TUK Cooperative farm where we picked up Agnes, the cooperative's president. In this first stop, we were greeted by a group of lovely lady farmers who sang, danced and illustrated in detail the coffee cultivation process. Subsequently, we drove with Patti and Agnes to their washing station where we given an explanation of coffee processing as well as a tasting session. Finally, we drove back to Kayonza where we had a nice lunch. At the Opportunity Centre, there was also a souvenir shop with local handmade items. When we returned to Kigali, Question Coffee offered us a coffee gift and another delicious coffee!

The whole experience was educational for coffee lovers but also very insightful in regard to the dedication and hard work of these proud Rwandan women. The drive itself is an experience, particularly the part from Kayonza to the coffee farm - you literally drive through innumerable banana plantations and pass by several small rural villages. We appreciated the human connection and we recommend this farm trek to anyone. Also well done to Question Coffee for organizing the activity in a professional and informative way!

I had an amazing time on the Mount Kigali hike tour! The tour guide, Serge, was fantastic and truly made the experience special. He was not only knowledgeable and informative, but also entertaining. The half-day tour was the perfect length and offered beautiful views. I loved that the hike allowed me to explore beyond just the city center and walk through villages, meeting local people along the way. The different activities available at the top of the mountain, like the zipline or horseback riding, adds even more excitement to the trip. Serge was also very accommodating with transportation, making the whole experience seamless. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Kigali!

An excellent way to see the key landmarks in Kigali. We had a knowledgable guide, and excellent driver.
Not cheap, but well worth the expense.
