Built between 1888 and 1891 from bricks made on site and still a place of worship today, it is worth a visit as it explains the huge influence the CCAP and the Scots on Malawi.
Do climb the narrow steps to the top of the tower for the fun of it, and the view.
At this place you will be entertained to Malawian traditional dances and also if you like site seeing you will be guided through through.
If you find yourself in the Dedza you must make time so you can go visit at least one of the rock art site.
Due to shortage of time + my knee issues, we only did the easiest of all sites - Mphunzi which is about 20 KM from Dedza on the way to Lilongwe.
The views are fantastic and you learn a lot about the lay-out of Lilongwe
