He is a well organised, on time, gentleman who gave us three well travelled guys an extraordinary insight into the Burundi culture and landscape. Experience fabulous drummers, waterfalls, impressive farming landscapes, animal sanctuaries, tea plantations, and we met the locals and forest dwelling singing Burundians. Safe comfortable clean hotels, good local produce at mealtimes, and cheap local beers! Even the local mobile sim works well alongside hotel wifi. Burundi was stunningly beautiful with colourful hard working local people on every road. Hotel Club du Lac Tanganyika was a great place to stay with comfortable rooms and good food. The roads are bumpy so travellong takes a long time but seeing the country was a great experience and all the stops were worthwhile. I stayed in Kigali and flew for a day tour to Bujumbura. I booked this tour on Internet and to pay it in advance to a German bank account. It was not cheap, from a local view even expensive.
Yet, everything was perfect. The airport pick-up was perfect and the whole tour which lasted until 17.00, was a perfect day.
Especially mentioned was the boat trip on the river, the lunch on a fantastic place (BoraBoar Beach), market visits, fishing village and everything.
Hypolit was such a friendly and smiling person, professional and very flexible to all my request. This guy i would select for any other tours in the future.
Not to forget the driver. Good car and he drove very professional in a extremly hectic area with a lot of dirty streets. I felt me very secured by his driving style.

The sight were amazing, the hotels were all comfortable, some even fantatistic.
Our driver Hippolyte was one of the best guide/drivers we have ever had, and we have had a lot.
Outside of Bujumbura we saw precisely zero other tourist. I was received and taken good care of Hypolite.
