Very well organised from pick up safety briefing, 15 minute flight (3 passengers all with window seats) and then debrief. Thoroughly enjoyed the flight with Jonathan and the video/photos to bring away afterwards (extra cost but fab memento). Thanks guys.

Excellent day, especially on the river cruise in the morning, this was my favourite part! Amazing..
Great breakfast & lunch at the restaurant, food fabulous.
Afternoon was great saw lots of elephants, giraffes, zebras especially but it was quite warm for a lot of the animals.

All in all a fabulous day trip!

We had a fantastic time with Simon and Beast Africa Safaris. They are professional, always on time, personable, enthusiastic, and very knowledgeable. The game drive in the morning was great we saw dozens and dozens of elephants, buffalo, and hippos among many other species. The lunch provided at the lodge was also very good.

The boat ride in the afternoon was my favourite part. We saw about 100 elephants, and two different prides of lions and even watched a whole herd of elephants swim cross the river right in front of us. Overall we couldn't be happier with our experience. It's great value, and a ton of fun. When we come back we will be booking with Simon again.

I visited the Vic Falls trail and did the helicopter tour with the guys and I really enjoyed it.
Trevor was an amazing guide - he gave me a beautiful tour and explained a lot about the falls and the area. He is extremely friendly and nice to hang out with.
    Totally recommend this tour !

Thank you so much! We had an amazing time. All the staff were great especially Cherry on the boat who found us elephants swimming the river into Namibia and Phil on the vehicle who found us a lioness and her three cute cubs just before we left Chobe. I cannot decide whether I enjoyed the boat or vehicle more and the buffet lunch was great. All the transfers and help with border crossings went so smoothly too. Highly recommend visitors to Victoria Falls to include this in your itinerary and it’s well worth every cent spent.

Booked this trip through dk tours and safaris, good communication, smooth payment and confirmation.

Transfers worked well, and the partner company that had the tour was excellent. Very happy with this tour. The river is a fantastic landscape to just be in, so you are in for a treat.

A general advice though, after reading several reviews on safari sites. Before booking: Know what you want to see, and find the tour that enhance the chances of just that. We wanted to see elephants and got a LOT. We didn’t get any lions though, as we probably should’ve started the game drive at early morning to increase the chance of that. But that was a choice we took. Be smart. Read up. And regardless: marvel at the wonder nature is.

The Devil's Pool is a naturally formed/carved small basin with an fairly calm eddy of water right in between all the rushing waterfalls at Victoria Falls. It is an adrenaline rush to lay across the rock shelf at the edge and look straight down the falls.

PLUS: Really exciting; great photo opp; guides dedicated to keeping everyone safe.

MINUS: The afternoon "tea party" afterwards could have been skipped. Doesn't really add to the experience. A simple beer or soda at the end would have been fine, without a sitdown experience for 45 minutes or so.

Not an activity for those without decent swimming skills (there is moderate swimming required for a stretch, and you need to follow the guide's directions of exactly where to swim to avoid being swept off in the stronger currents that run nearby - but it is safe). Not recommended for the elderly. Also: do not go barefoot because of the rock section you will walk across in reaching the swimming areas: wear watwerproof sandals (not flipflops, something secured to your feet with straps, as there are sections you will be swimming).

Truly exhilarating. The first step takes a lot of courage, but it is well worth it for the unmatched experience of the free fall and incredible views. A total blast.

I found the 8-Day Chobe and Okavango delta tour while surfing the web. I once watched a show on National Geographic about the Okavango River and wanted to visit it. I did not dare to directly book a trip on the other side of the world, so I forwarded the idea to the local tourist agency in Slovenia. Looking back now, worries about the reliability of the travel with Africa Zim Travel from Zimbabwe were unnecessary. The entire trip went according to plan. My wife and I are very grateful to our driver and guide Cosmas, who fulfilled our every wish. Even though we had to extend our trip by one day due to flight connections, he arranged for us to extend our stay at the hotel in Maun and also took care of transportation to the airport - despite the fact that he had to return home himself after completing the planned tour. Therefore, the seemingly challenging journey was a real pleasure. I would recommend Africa Zim travel and their Victoria Falls to Okavango delta package because the good organization allows you to see a part of Africa that is not on the usual tourist routes - in a very short time.

We signed up for the all day tour, and we're pleased to find out that we would have a private tour...no extra cost. We asked our driver to arrange for us to see both sides of the falls, which he did. And we are glad we saw both sides. Boma dinner was not to be missed.

The game drive was exhilarating! I appreciated the thoroughness and the hard work the guide and assistant both put in to make the experience a very memorable one. Definitely unforgettable. Saw just about everything advertised except the Leopard, which can be an elusive animal. We did detect what the guide thought were Leopard tracks. Camping was exciting and a great way to see the animals that appear early in the morning and in the evening. Camping is probably the best way to see the most animals! The guide and assistant very friendly, polite, and helpful. This tour is highly recommended!

It was an amazing experience, unique safari. Enjoyed it immensely. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and found a lioness and cubs before all other vehicles.
