What travellers are saying
- Roving672586270471 contributionThe panoramic vista at the top offers a moment of catharsis. Dining in the restaurant with families above the clouds in the super-crisp air has this sense of ethereal veil, as if one has ascended somewhere beyond!Written 13 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Chris GMaidstone, UK67 contributionsPick a clear day obviously so that you can get the views we went up on Saturday the fast pass it was an additional £37 for the two of us but well worth it. The queue was an hour and a half. At least we got to the cable car in five minutes, when you’re up there there’s some stunning views. Probably only a half day excursion we used Uber to get there and Uber to get back.Written 13 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We found to ensure we had a safe and hassle free evening this to be the best choice. But I’m sure there are many other options.
Nice to be by the water and with entertainment and good choice of nice restaurants.

- mariannecusterKnoxville, TN5 contributionsThis is a pretty wonderful place off the radar in Johannesburg. It is a maze of artist Studios and shops surrounded by organic flower and vegetable gardens.
You can visit with the artists, purchase their work or find beautiful crafts in some of the shops. There is also a gin distillery, though it was closed during our visit, and a nice coffee shop for some tea and cookies. You pass through a pretty rough neighbourhood to get there, but there is a guard at the gate. It felt so much more authentic than the Africa souvenir stores.Written 9 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Cameron N17 contributionsI recently visited the Lion Safari Park and had an amazing experience! Our guide, Nolu, was fantastic—both incredibly informative and hilarious, keeping us entertained throughout the entire tour.
The park itself was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, adding to the overall enjoyment. After the safari, we checked out the shops, which were stocked with great snacks and a wide variety of unique gifts—perfect for souvenirs! Overall, it was a memorable and fun day out. Highly recommend!Written 10 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
