We went late morning and although it was January it was busy. Unusual plants and tress and a very old interesting building. We just wandered round ourselves. Didn’t do the tower and there was a lengthy queue for one of the rooms so we couldn’t wait as tight for time. Overall an enjoyable visit and not expensive

Our trip to Morocco was truly exceptional, thanks to our incredible driver Mohamed T and wonderful tour guides Mohamed K. and Marwan, who were fantastic—incredibly knowledgeable, fun to be with and charming. From the moment we arrived, Mohamed T, our driver, made us feel welcome, comfortable, and completely taken care of. He went out of his way to check in with us to ensure we got to our locations safely after he dropped us off and was always available for us any time of day/night.

Mohamed T was not just an extremely safe driver but also a wealth of knowledge, sharing fascinating stories about Morocco’s history, culture, and his own traditions since he is from Merzouga. He took us to breathtaking hidden gems, local markets, and stunning landscapes that we never would have discovered on our own. The itinerary was perfectly planned, yet flexible, allowing us to truly soak in every moment.

Beyond being our driver, he was kind, patient, and always had a warm smile and was our personal photographer. We enjoyed the music from Morocco while driving through the country. He went above and beyond to ensure our trip was smooth, fun, and filled with unforgettable memories.

If you’re looking for a top-notch Moroccan experience, I 100% recommend Sahara 4x4. While I did not have the hands-on connection with Said, my friend was his contact, and he made our planning extremely easy and was flexible with our changes. This journey was beyond our expectations, and we are so grateful for the hospitality and expertise that made it all possible.

Thank you, Said for the terrific team you have in place and for an amazing adventure! Thank you, Mohamed T., for making us love your country even more! We can’t wait to return!

Firstly, these gardens are 45 minutes from Marrakech so IF you prebook your tickets AND also prebook the free shuttle bus (some people didn’t realise they had to do this separately – it is on their website) it’s absolutely worth the trip; you can also visit of your own accord if you have a car. The gardens are large, almost oasis like, lush and filled with a wide range of palms, cactuses, banana trees and so much more. Amongst the gardens are various art pieces by Andre Heller, a large pond, a café with good toilets and a lovely gift shop, and behind the café is also a beautiful tent to sit in if you want some shade.. The gardens also have lots of chairs dotted around, a couple of hammocks and a Berber tent to chill out in so relax! It’s a beautiful change from the chaos of Marrakech.
Tip: If it’s a clear day, go on the terrace above the café and you’ll have a stunning view of the Atlas mountains.

Amazing photographs showing the history of Marrakech and beyond. Lots of stairs but well worth making it to the top floor to see the exhibit there. There is a rooftop coffee shop with a fantastic view of the city.

My friend Julia and I travelled from Australia to complete a 11-day tour in Morocco that included Rabat, Chefchaouen, Fes, the Sahara desert (my absolute favourite), Atlas Montains and Essouira. Julia had already previously been on a tour with Morocco Excursions and had the best time so it only made sense to go with Morocco Excursions again! Hassan was kind enough to accomodate all of our requests and make adjustments to the itinerary as appropriate for which we were very grateful.

We had Mohamed as our driver (Julia's second time with him) who was the absolute BEST! He was so incredibly kind, gentle, professional and polite and most of all, he was a very safe and competent driver - just overall a stellar human being! He showed us the best of the best and made us feel safe and comfortable every step of the way - he even fended off locals for us when necessary. This trip to Morocco would not have been the same without him!!!

We decided to stay in the Sahara desert for a longer period of time (Hassan was kind enough to accommodate our requests) and it was by far some of my favourite moments in my lifetime! It was made all the more beautiful by the people and also the fact that Mohamed knew the region like the back of his hand as he grew up there and so he knew all the places to go! I have absolutely fallen in love with Morocco and we will be back again. I would most definitely recommend Morocco Excursions and Mohamed to anyone thinking of travelling around Morocco!

My instagram handle is @avalina__123 if you'd like to see more photos of our Mor occo trip with Morocco Excursions!

Walked from the medina to the cyberpatk while we were exploring the newer part of marakech. Very impressive green space, great place to relax and wander around.

We just had a day trip from Marrakesh to the Ourika Valley with Fahd. He was an excellent driver and knowledgeable guide for our first foray into the Moroccan and Berber culture. Hassan the guide for the hike up to the waterfalls was equally excellent. We highly recommend the company and both Fahd and Hassan.

Lovely, cozy little shop with genuine products and non-pushy staff. We felt super well treated and bought quite some products. The nice owner even offered us tea (before we bought anything).

The oldest museum in Marrakech set in a 19th century palace. The official name is the Museum of Moroccan Arts and with a 70 dirham entrance fee it is well worth a visit. See some of Marrakech's oldest objects, including Berber jewelry, rugs, and many antiquities.

I really fell for this house. Without knowing this wonderful house was located there, I always wanted to follow the small aisle there, instead of going to the Riad I was staying. When I arrived, the owner was there as well and I, with two people from Germany, received a private tour. The stories the carpets tell are amazing. I would definitely go back and enjoy it once again!

Well worth a visit and you get a free pass to the photography museum. You will struggle to find 5hem without your maps! Some really unusual instruments with historical information and held in an amazing building. The top floor even has some that visitors are allowed to try out. Wasn’t busy when we visited and you can just wander around all the unusual rooms. We had a half day for both museums and just found our own way there

Lovely little private museum tucked in a small art gallery street in Marrakesh; owned by man who has a gallery on the street. Unique gift items.

I went with my daughter and enjoyed a Hammam, full body, face and foot massage.
The atmosphere was very calming inside the building. The staff were very welcoming, warm and extremely professional.
My skin ( usually very dry) felt silky smooth for a couple of days afterwords .
    A truly memorable experience.
    Thank you.

This spa was amazing from booking online and correspondence to the actual visit. We arrived and entered a haven of serenity. We were given mint tea on arrival and were given an insight into what we could expect. We had booked a hammam and a relaxing massage. Firstly we were given gowns, paper knickers and flip flops before entering the hammam. It was our first time and we didn’t know what to expect but it was amazing we were washed and then black soap was put on our bodies and after a relaxing steam it was scrubbed off, the ladies even washed my hair ! We then sat back out in the main spa and chose our scents for our massage. Our therapists, Sara and Hamim (hopefully spelt correctly) were truly magnificent !!!!! It was the best massage I have ever had. I cannot recommend this spa enough. It was the highlight of our trip xxxx
